Probably cause they are doing good in every other tournament except this one :D The problem is not the balance, it's the way the gameflow tends to go. Terran is just doing hellbat drops 99% of the time, even in TvT, and it makes for boring games. It's kinda Protoss vs Zerg during WOL, either protoss won with a 1-2 base immortal allin or Zerg won the late game with broodlords/infestors. Even if the MU is balanced, as in each opponent had 50% chance to win, it's still god damn boring to watch.

You can certainly argue that Gumiho and Leenock should have been ranked higher, but that's about it. Not only is the Super Tournament ancient history in terms of Sc2 he also won it by basically studying his opponents playstyles and then abusing them like crazy. His playstyle now is the complete reverse of then and the skills he used to win the Super Tournament are not applicable to a weekend LAN style event. Leenock is the best and most successful weekend LAN style player in Sc2 history. I would say DRG still takes that title. But I see your point Lol MVP beats either. MLG. Blizzcon. WCG. IEM. Yes because IEM, Blizzcon and WCG are the same level as MLGs and IPLs.... Pretty much is, going past wcg korea already beats an MLG, sorry bro. the WCG qualifier was not a weekend LAN style tournament.... bro

So I guess Leenock is going to take the whole thing =)

I thought for sure he was out after losing that first game against Hyun.

Russian cast is hilarious. :D No Strelok, repair, repaiiir!!! Oooy!

It'll be really good for the worldwide scene if foreigners can make deep runs in tournaments. If HerO loses we have a very predictable Leenock-Gumiho finals (obviously it's not set, but it's a really strong probability), and to me that kind of sucks. I'd like a protoss with a good claim in there as well. Puzzle can go down, tho... But he doesn't seem to agree with that.
With this many zergs I don't think Leenock is a 100% certainty. He has great ZvZ, but Hyun and Jaedong can definitely take him out.
edit: Very late didn't between the brackets. But yeah strong probability, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Leenock out.

Can't really blame Strelok and Yugiho playing subpar at this point, they have had a hell of a day.
