That's not a massive nerf, It makes them slightly worse in the early game without hurting them too much in the mid-late game.

50% cost increase isn't a lot, what is? Minerals might not be the most important part of mech, but it is not something to scoff at like that.

So it costs 100 minerals to make hellions and 150 to make hellbats, but in the mid and late game you can just make hellions and then convert them, seems reasonable.


That's circumventing the issue with them killing too many workers easilly. Just lower their damage and increase their rate of fire so people have time to run away/split workers.

Them killing workers is only a problem in the early game. Their damage is however pretty well balanced when it comes to TvP against Zealots when playing mech.

I really think modifing their cost is the right way to go since it only affects the early game when you can't just upgrade the transformation from hellions.

That's why i said increase the rate of fire so they keep the same DPS overall.

the only thing that might not have been correct in the LP brackets were the places of revival and the other late dropdowns

the matchups that were on LP were the same that axslav announced on stream earlier
