I've been saying this since beta. Mines are pretty good in the early/mid game because they're cheap and fast to produce, but as the late game comes around, you've *got* to add in tanks. At the very least you're forcing vipers with that, and you just flat out can't beat a well-microed mutalingbane force.

Also not sure exactly how to deal with the new Ultralisk yet. Used to be able to put the marines in front and survive just long enough to get them all killed. Now though... =/

Also tired of seeing Terrans floating 2k gas and not transitioning to anything. A few ravens would be amazing for seeker missile play, plus save those creep tumor scans so you can keep up in production late game with the extra mineral income. When KeeN lost his whole army taking out Symbol's 4th, he was at 600/1700. That gas should have been in Ravens and Tanks.

The metagame flows and changes. Zergs figuring out how to handle mid-game mines properly. It's Terran's turn to respond.

Agreed. Almost every pro TvZ I've seen in Code S has ended up with the terran floating over 2k gas by the end -- that's about 15 tanks worth of gas, and meanwhile Keen lost a ton of bio to banelings. Tanks also control space and push away infestors much more effectively than MMM-Widow mine play -- the ultras were only so effective because the fungals were all but killing the marines and the ultras could take one swipe and eliminate all of that DPS. Tanks would probably force brood lord-viper instead.
