If a player competes in the World Championship Series Korea Code B (Qualifier Division) this week, does it disqualify him or her from playing in the WCS America or WCS Europe for 2013?
Technically this would be the case as such a player would be committing to the seeding process for KR's Season 2 Premier League (Code S). However, we are interested in ensuring players are not locked into a region due to confusion or lack of information.

Because the 'joke' is the best eSports organisation europe has to offer while Dreamhack is more or less a single event. But i might be wrong. -_-
seriously I can't stand this stupid ESL bashing anymore. MLG is doing 1 fucking tournament as a qualification thing which will not even be broadcasted live and they even wanted to charge a fee for it. ESL is open to anybody may it be player or casterwise. By this they are of course having more flaws in their process but at least they try and cover these qualificationgrids as best as possible. How much do you usually get from Code A quali?
...and all ESL gets is hate by the community. great.
I agree with you in that MLG has already done a far worse job and hasn't even started to try and broadcast the event yet. However, it's pretty telling that NASL hopped in for 1 day of qualifiers and absolutely blew ESL's broadcast out of the water. Just because they're the best online organization in Europe doesn't mean they get a pass to put out a low quality product.
That being said, I think people in general need to be more constructive with their criticism. ESL could do a lot better with a good producer (which they supposedly just hired) and an actual functional website.

WCS NA:
Actually no, I couldn't come up with a better joke than WCS NA.
Fuu--uh-uh-uhhhhny.
But I repeat: this event has been horribly produced. When the majority of stream time consists of euro dance music and a caster refreshing brackets while wondering out loud whether the brackets are up to date you have problem.
On the positive side, there is apparently great simpatico between Blizzard and ESL. They both mean the same thing when they say a game is coming "Soon."

I do agree that they really need to get someone else with Kaelarys, not to speak about the massive downtimes.

Seems like he got disqualified
What this is an outrage? I didn't care about nasl not being allowed to cast...but this? Down with ESL!!!
Seems like even if he did't play code s, cod a, the simple fact that he played ONE bo3 and lost, made it impossible to play in any other wcs, yeah
He could not play that game and then he would be able to play somewhere else. If there was a confusion, he should be the one contacting ESL/Blizzard, not shitload of rabbin fans tweeting, mailing or whatever.

It's just the fact that people love bitterdam more than kaelaris. If ESL had dApollo + TB or someone it would be a whole different story. Plus people probably wanted more than a solo caster.

Well ESL had Bitterdam before anyone wanted to see them. ESL made Bitterdam, but that is another story.
