I'm just sad that SC2 now has such element of pure randomness which is the mines. Randomness is bad. More skill-based gameplay please. Things that you as a player personally control and determine if they were played well. Not this lottery.

Great tournament had a lot of fun watching it. Especially Flash vs Bogus was insanely entertaining. Can't wait for the next one :3

Really great tournament from MLG. A ton of awesome games.

Flash is getting quite good at sc2, good to see. Parting is looking kind of dumb with his imba comments after seeing MC. Life is still the benchmark

Bogus's TvZ too. Was insanely good.
This MLG is kinda an Life+TvT story : JJ won MKP (only to loose vs Rain ), Flash won Bogus, Life won Polt, and then Life had the title. Because yeah i only see mkp/bogus/polt capable of wining vs Life :p

Btw, now zergs whiners can stfu and l2p.

But yeah very good MLG. Maybe something to do with the terran insane line-up :D

Could be the case that they played almost only with Hots Units besides the mines

Also Life's been at this for a much shorter period of time, he might not be as used to this intensity as much as Flash who's been a progamer, but then again Flash didn't really play in many LAN events up until recently (as OSL and MSL tournaments play more sporadically).

It has an activation time. The units passed by so fast that it went through its range and no particular unit triggered it. Mines are really good and really powerful but they are not the end all unit that was made up to be. What needs to happen is some buffs to things that can stop speedvacs drops and the game would be in a pretty good state of balance.

I actually thought Life was the one that looked like he needed a long nap just after game 1. At that point I wouldn't have been surprised to see Flash win 4 straight with how exhausted Life looked. Guess I was wrong though!

If there is anything I could say Flash could have improved against Life, would be switching up his builds and transitioning into late-game. Bio/Widow Mine is good and all, but making it exclusive TvZ build just gets predictable, and Life knew this and reacted by doing anti-builds. Flash always banked tons of gas, and he could have invested it into Ravens which would have helped greatly against Mutas and the possible BL transition.
