It's neither. It's what you are. They're Han Chinese. The name of their country is the Republic of China. Calling them by their correct name doesn't mean you support or oppose some sort of political unification with the PRC.

Game 1 was pretty damn good, game 2 was Seed making a huge mistake, and game 3 was just Seed losing because Rain had a better defence and build.

There is a great genetic, linguistic, cultural, and social diversity among ethnic Han. Personally I think the categorization is way too broad.
Anyhow, Half of the Taiwanese population consider themselves to be Taiwan ren and other half zhongguo ren.

Yeah, a few matchups I missed earlier (was at work then got dinner with a friend) but the scores were all lopsided. Rain vs. Seed I really wanted to see, but it was kind of brutal to watch (I really don't like Rain). This TvT should be great though.

I agree, people who look at the Taiwanese and say "oh, you're just regular mainland Chinese people living on an island!" need to realize there's a lot more behind it all
