Some people say "zee-lot" instead of zealot, others pronounce chitinous wrong. I lose my shit when I hear people say "Me-Lee" instead of "Meh-lay" for Melee. I have to take horse tranquilizers before watching most (tobi!) dota 2 commentators on that game because of this.

Stephano is historically a better ZvPers than Parting is a PvZer. There's a lot of familiarity with the HoTs game to be considered, and changes to the game in general, but should be interesting none the less Slow down there, PartinG's ZvP has actually become the stuff of nightmares for zerg, yes he got a lot of wins on the back of the immortal sentry, but that doesn't make him a 1 trick pony, he was just using what he found was good and what he knew would work at the time because no one had a clue how to beat it. He has shown that he is a complete player via his stellar run in the Blizzcup, displaying many, many macro builds and 3-base timings, he also had a respectably good run in in GSL Code S until he ran into Curious. Don't let the 0-3 to Curious fool you, that was more a result of Curios being a former team mate of PartinG and completely dissecting his builds and using them against him. I'm guessing you haven't seen much of those games. Also from the games of PartinG I've seen so far at IEM, I'd say he has enough of an understanding of it that he can defeat Stephano + his mechanics and multi-tasking are just ferocious.

Mvp makes it to the finals; Rain gets seeded directly into the finals; The rest of the tournament is irrelevant. Mvp > Rain to take the win!

I'm wondering this as well. Lair is the same as what the starcraft community use.

You want to use ultras to crush armies, not close out games. BL corruptor infestor is for that. I don't think that's the right way to view it any more, ever since the Ultras recieved a damage buff in HoTS they are much, much scarier, they actually rape marines now. Looking at the context of the game, Stephano was a full set of upgrades ahead, he had a decently sized and Dream wasn't yet producing a good number of Marauders, he didn't have any widow mines and he had just lost nearly all of his tanks. Given these circumstances + the new strength of the Ultralisk I could easily have seen Stephano clean up the drop at his base, remax and then go in for another round, he could have broken the walls then flooded, camped the production and killed Dream. My guess is that Stephano isn't yet aware of the new power of Ultralisks.

Mvp > Rain to take the win! Lol that's hilarious. Also I noticed a lot of really interesting match-ups incoming. Nerchio vs Mana, PartinG vs Stephano, First vs Dream (IEM Katowice rematch! :D), and a potential for an IEM Cologne finals rematch with Mvp vs Nerchio!

I love that they're viable but they might be a little too viable. I wouldn't say ZvZ is better off as it was before with massing up infestor roach and turtling it out, if you think about it what composition would you rather see in ZvZ? I for sure like muta/ling much better than roach.
