That's why the "korean" vs "foreign" is important.

Stephano could have won if he had pushed hard once his second wave of Ultras had arrived. The first wave stopped Dream's big push by arriving in the nick of time. Apollo and ToD were talking about how Stephano was in such a strong position because he had lots of fully upgraded Ultras, had just crushed Dream's main army and had a big upgrade advantage and a bank. Stephano did not push though, hence Apollo talking about how Stephano's army getting weaker over time as Dream caught up on upgrades. ToD was talking about the upgrade difference between the two as well. Did you stop watching the game for ten minutes or something? Stephano clearly was in a position to win at that point, but he did not know it and so sat back.

Actually, just looking at the supply can be misleading. Dream was up 30 supply at one point but it was because Stephano was banking for Ultras. And same for Stephano, he was up 20ish supply after his ultras won. But we have to remember he had quite a few Ultras are near half health. Which means out of the 50/60 supply of Ultras, they were really only worth 30/40 supply. They went down really fast when he try to push into the base. This is actually like in WoL PvT. Sometimes you will see terrans engage, stim and get storm (but not a lot of units die) and win the fight. They look like they are up 30 ish supply. But the regroup and engage again and their supply just melts to 1-2 more storms. Then people said Terran got crushed even 30 supply up. But in truth, maybe 50% of the army was in the red/orange and the medivacs had no more energy. So they weren't really up a true 30 supply.

It's almost like the Terrans at the event are Korean or something. People always forget that Korean Terrans have always made Terran look imbalanced even when Terran was at it's lowest point. It's not Korea's fault that they are so much better at Terran than the rest of the world. Lucifron placed bottom of his group and Kas placed second last despite both of them being among the top EU Terrans. There really are 4 races in SC2. They are zerg, protoss, Korean terran and foreign terran.

Stephano spent a good portion of the game plodding his ultras around in the middle of nowhere while he had a significant upgrade advantage. Ultras are a unit you use to press an advantage and close a game out because while they are strong, they can be dealt with easily if you give your opponent time to adjust their unit composition. Stephano made that mistake and paid for it in the end. I'd hardly call that playing better.
