Not to say that this isn't an awesome tournament without it, but when I read TeamStoryCup and TaKe that's what I imagined it and I was SOOOOO Excited for the idea.
imagine the two teams in finals....meeting in real life and playing Beer Pong or Flip Cup against each other. I would pay to watch that....as long as it is casted also!!

Eg isn't invited, but Mousesports it?

If TaKe could do that, it would be amazing. It would probably do so much for the teams in terms of exposure, and the chance to have all of your team's players gain positive exposure and fans like that is so valuable.

WOW that's a lot of money to split between 4 teams! This should be sick as fuck.

Nice to see something replacing IPTL.

The Revival idea is awesome: "Two times a season it is possible to revive a player. This means a player that played and lost in a running clanmatch is able to play again."
Also just to clarify why are the games being played on US server when both players are in EU? "Games are to be played on the following Battle.net locations: US when both players are located in the EU or Asia."
It also doesn't make sense with the rule that comes afterwards: "The 'home team' will chose the server region."
|
Awesome! Excited for another good team league, especially with IPTL probably disappearing.
I agree with Catz that it would be cool if a Homestory-ish live aspect could be worked into the later parts of the tournament, though I realize the logistics of that could be difficult. Either way, I'm looking forward to it!

Based on the four invites and the fact that it's a TakeTV event, I think it's aiming to be a little more of a Euro-centric tournament, which is fine by me.

Hopefully it's not so much replacing as providing another major teamleague for the foreign scene.

So is this gonna be offline? I mean 14 days sounds long but it sounds like a HomeStory Cup Team event and the HSC's are offline. I wouldn't be suprised if this event is online only or online and then offline finals.

This looks super exciting. I'm really looking forward to getting to see a lot of players from axiom play on a regular basis.

Sorry if I missed it, but...I cannot find the starting date. When will this be?

I am confident that this tournament will measure up. Love the choice of teams invited, gl and hf putting it all together!

GOGO Axiom! I want Acer to win though.

$10k for first place, which is to be split by I'm guessing 7 to 8 people? Pretty low prize pool imo. Hopefully its at least $15k for first next time

That's actually pretty high for a teamleague. In comparison: IPTL pays $9k to the champion (with a total prize pool of $22k) EG Master Cup pays $5k to the champion (total prize pool of $10k) NASL's teamleague paid $6k to the champion (total prize pool of $10k)
Other than that one random Asian teamleague that had a $40k total prizepool, the only teamleagues that have much larger prizepools are the GSTL and Proleague, but those are not really comparable for obvious reasons.
