The 3rd did cost him...would've expcted more production with T on 2 base push.

Socke was stupidly greedy there, for a few moments I thought Sting wasn't going to punish himi since the stim was too late and it would work out, but when he saw Sting not planting a CC, and amassing a huge army, it seems really weird to take a third that aggresively with no army.

why all zergs leaving vipers over protoss units even when they have 0 energy? what's so hard about sending them home to replenish energy..

Yeah Socke played that really well, but then when he got his 3rd he just didn't have enough units.

He didn't need a 3rd there....

One could also ask why Zergs took almost 2 years to stop waddling masses of infestors directly into enemy fire.

Did he really, sting had no upgrades, and I'd say Socke had the better composition, those tanks wouldn't have been that good if the game continued on.

But yeah i agree, 3rd would have been okay if he didn't focus on all the other things too.. ^^
