MKP seems like a one trick pony nowadays
One of the best TvP's and TvT's in the game, "one trick pony", everyone is struggling in TvZ atm so cant blame him for sticking to what he feels comfortable with, 6th ro16+ in a row. So bad.

Why dont people use hellion banshee and keep making banshees all game anymore? that keeps the zerg on his toes, gives good map control and stop a lot of what roaches can do....

Jaedong did the same thing and got completely destroyed by baby. Baby scouted it and made vikings and sniped all the overlords long before they were close to the tanks. jaedong was behind quite a bit before he did roach drop Well. Kind of. Not that much. Soulkey started off behind as well here because of the 2 rax. (though probably less so). The other difference between Baby and MKP is that Baby actually harasses. Hellion drops, banshees. All sorts of things to help himself get an edge. MKP turtles in his base with no scouts and only 1 hellion run by with 2 hellions... Seemed like a lazy performance by MKP. You didn't actually watch the game, did you. MKP was way ahead after his rax pressure. The hellion runby was a scout, btw. He saw the roaches. lol? You just repeated what I said... That is weird.

Well, it's technically possible to do it that way, but in the normal real universe if you do that the roaches just walk up and kill you because you have crap all else.

I always liked constant banshee making with mech as well bc if you make banshees zerg makes 24/7 queens and drops them on top of you aswell and you waste viable gas. Dunno can be good but personally im no fan of it anymore.

At this point, people should be focusing on HOTS builds anyway.

Yes it is great but with adding factories (gas),starport for banshee (gas), banshee (gas), getting upgrades (gas), making tanks and thors (gas) it will always be hard to have enough units to defend such roach drop. It is just about roaches being much cheaper and easier to build and the timing hitting before mech gets to a critical numbers.
Landing the early third for added gas income + spending minerals on a lot of turrets is probably the best way to defend that push. But then again, with mech you usually have only helions early game which means a couple of roaches and overlord spreading creep can bully you and delay that third for terran.

belshir went from one of the hardest maps to take a 3rd on as p to probably the easiest in the current pool
