Hellbats / Hellions should cost 100/50 imo, terrible unit in general though, like almost everything Blizzard designed for HotS (with the exception of the Viper)

A couple more widow mines and he would have been fine 1 on each side of the mineral to protect and he might have been able to hold I think?

This reminds me of MLG Anaheim 2011, except this is more stupid. I think Hellbats seem a little bit too overpowered in this build of the game. Too difficult to stop and does too much damage. Just stopping SCVs from mining for a good 30 seconds is more than enough damage. I dunno, but I didn't really like what I saw from both games.

It'll be sad if Hellbats get nerfed without at least a bit of time for people to try come up with some solutions, they're about the only worthwhile new thing for T atm as it is.

Terran strat in TvT: hellbat drop ; terran strat in TvZ: hellbat drop ; terran strat in TvP: hellbat drop. Thanks MLG for organize events on a beta which is not balance for the moment . You should wait one or two month after the release before switching to Hots.

Really, everyone watching 2 games and jumping to conclusions. Let's recap that last game.

TY goes proxy reaper and does 0 damage. Then takes double gas and makes a quick expo. He had virtually no units out, 0 marauders, siege tanks, widow mines. And the fast viking still severely limited the damage done by the hellbat drop.

How is this broken? Had Innovation gone for a WoL style marine drop with hellions at the front, he would have likely killed him straight up.

Perhaps a good reason to buff viking ground mode a bit? I mean, this seems like a legitemate reason to buff the viking ground mode.

This, people are reading entirely too much into just the two games here.

That being said I think Hellbats are a touch to strong, I think if the just get rid of the bio tag they will be perfect imo.

Indeed, people are going really quick about pulling the OP-card..
Marauders, smart positioned turrets/mines and tanks with a decent opener could easily deal with this kind of strat.
Also I don't think TY has played much HotS..
