Don't worry, zergs of the world are still convincing people that Daybreak is the most balanced map of the pool. Well it was at first (pre zergpatch), stereotypes on maps are hard to change, people still think crossfire was a bad zerg map. Daybreak was the most balanced map but it has changed by a lot xD Crossfire was a great map. Some great games on there. But it was "imba" so it had to go and we were never allowed to see any map that worked the same way again. Daybreak was a great map that was balanced. So then we had to see every map that worked the same way. Thus now Daybreak is boring to me. As are most maps. Because they're daybreak. Whirlwind maybe an exception.

If you won't spread marines vs. banelings you'll lose them in no time, just like if you won't spread units vs. fungals you'll lose them. So, just spread your units, simple as that. lol yes this is basic sc2 knowledge, don't split in tvz you gonna have a bad time, thanks for the reminder there. the problem i had was with the thor/muta vs fungal analogy. which was ridiculous. i would go further to say that you chose such a ridiculous example for your tvz "point" because terran doesn't have a single mechanic in tvz which punishes mistakes in such a consistently game ending fashion the way that fungal does, and the choice of "point" could be because you haven't admitted this to yourself yet. personally i'm not sure how i feel about this, i still think terran design is pretty cool and there are lots of nice punishment mechanics early game like hellion vs drones, stutter step vs lings, maybe we can talk about nukes late game if they don't see the user interface alert or have their sound muted or something. but you get so many chances to correct your errors against these mechanics in comparison to fungal.

All I remember was idra vs jinro when idra 6 pooled and jinro heard the crowd so he made a bunker. He managed to get only 1 marine in it with 5 hp too
