Stephano knows more than you do so he had a reason for going Hydralisk. You don't have to make excuses just because he didn't win. Stephano is known as one of the best ZvPers for a reason. Jaehoon just had his number and now that Stephano is in pro league his styles being analyzed by the Kespa pros who will break him down once they understand his style. From what I remember, that same composition beat herO[join]. So, it does work.

Stephano would've died to Jaehoon's timing if he teched to infestors. It is also hard for Zerg to take a 4th base in a 3 base vs 3 base ZvP. Going for hydras was the correct decision.

Bleh, Stephano stopped all tech, research, and upgrades and just kept making hydras... Dunno if he just underestimated forcefields. He has lost this way a couple times recently, needs to switch it up imo. His positioning didn't seem to stellar either... Lets go TL!

Not when the protoss has a comparably sized army. Roach hydra doesn't work with that many sentrys and immortals on the map.

Well, the hydras still have the same range as a stalker, so they can't be forcefielded out of a fight quite in the same way as Roaches.

Such a bizzare game. Holding the first push was great but the followup attacks were just bad. He kept losing units, never sniped a single immortal then got rolled by close to 200/200 protoss army with ff ><

Damn. That was pretty much the perfect counter-play to Stephano. It seems Stephano's style is getting studied and specifically practiced against. It's going to be super hard for him from here on out.
