koreans probably tired of WoL by now I don't really understand why everybody thinks HOTS will make PvZ and interesting and dynamic Match-Up. Because you can fight the Protoss death ball without a need for Infestors and Brood Lords. I've seen many ZvP matches in HOTS, and there are Mutas, Lings, Banelings, Roaches, Hydras, Swarm Hosts, Vipers, and the match-up is full of action again, instead of sitting there on 3 - 4 bases, camping with the Spine Forest and Infestors and waiting for Brood Lords.
Pretty much, every match-up is more interesting in HOTS than in WoL.

Yay Life

Stargate play into Viper abducting all of your tech units. No everyone will soul train even more. With mothership core and free hallucinate its even stronger. At least Hots PvZ will be shorter than WoL.

Belshir Vestige... That will be rough for toss

I think Immortals push works on the element of surprise. Once the surprise is gone, I think Life will be able to defend it easily

man i cant believe how poorly parting played the forth game he should have won this, so many mistakes. just sad now.

That was actually really cool to see how easily Life was able to hold the Immo-Sentry allin. Maybe that will inspire others zergs.

And now Life has the momentum and I am pretty sure that he will lose the next map and the series .

you can't warp in and micro the immortals

Switching to Protoss to send Parting my energy.

He went for a base trade and assumed his Carriers would refill his supply. He left the Stargates vulnerable and lost all the Carriers+chance to produce a ton more of them with his bank. Theoretically it was a sound idea, but it just didn't work out that way. The Stargates were found very quickly and camped by Corruptors/destroyed. He should have engaged Life's army in the middle of the map, where the BL/Infestor army is very vulnerable. Even if he lost there, he could have severely weakened it and remaxed with his bank before Life arrived at his front door. Instead, he just killed Life's base which he didn't even need. What he needed to do was stop that army, one way or another. Engage maxed lings/broodlords/infestors with the army he had and barely 1 vortex ? I like it when people show their true knowledge of the game by going further than the typical retarded "o a mistakuu". Like I said, didn't say he could definitely win the fight. Was just saying he needed to trade some of his supply to kill off some Corruptors and force some Infestor energy out, maybe even get a bunch of Infestor kills with Feedback. He was in a good economic situation, he needed to slow down the attack and weaken Life's army, and then remax with a superior army in Carrier/Voidray/Templar.

So we'll have two more zerg champions today

Floating so many resources. Parting, what's up?

Life handled that amazingly. The dynamic between these two players is how it should be. Both strats are so hard to execute that the idea of not making mistakes is laughable. Both made mistakes, Life made fewer and less severe ones.

Yep, with such a lousy execution and more than 1,3k bank for toss, it seems to be possible for zerg to hold it IF ffs are not perfect...
