I'm not saying that terran has it any easier. Protoss just has a number of viable all ins, hence the immensely reduced winrate if those are nerfed. There's no macro PvZ strategy. Why don't you finally understand that this does not prevent Protoss from winning games? It is completely irrelevant if Protoss wins the games in the early or in the late game, the matter of the fact is they can win them. It makes the matchup extremely silly because of the different times in which a race has advantages but that's all. Of course that has to be fixed and hopefully Blizzard will be able to do that (even if it'll in HotS and not in WOL), but this myth that Protoss can't win vs. Zerg is just so retarded it makes my head hurt. And I would be very surprised if Blizzard is not aware of this, there is no reason for them to nerf Immortals while at the same time not making changes to the Zerg Lategame as wellTerran is really struggeling these days and there are definitely things that have to be changed, but stop this whining for the whinings sake. There's a saying in Martial Arts: Never box with a boxer and never wrestle with a wrestler. Always force your opponent to fight/play your game. That's what PvZ atm ist about 80% of the times. Protoss struggles in the lategame? Of course, so kill them early. That's unfortunately the way it is right now, but still both sides win. Blizzard balancing the game out so that both races have the same chances of winning early and late game would be the ideal situation but unfortunately at this point it's not the case. And for gods sake stop always being defensive when arguments like this are being raised. Nobody called you or your race bad -.- Bottom line: the finals will be great and I'm extremely looking forward to it. Would be nice if more people would be concerned about the match at hand.

I agree with a lot of what you said but I never said protoss can't win against zerg. Protoss all ins are extremely strong in fact which means some might say the matchup favors protoss because all ins can kill zerg before they get to their pretty much unbeatable army. The thing is, I'd take a nerf like immortal build time increase any time, any second, for a way to fairly play vs zerg lategame. Like many zergs do I think the immortal all in, if executed perfectly, is too strong. If a certain race has an advantage at certain stages of the game, that's fine... protoss has an advantage over terran if both players go into lategame untouched. But the advantage that zerg has is too much. No reasonable person will ever tell you otherwise. And I mean you kind of make similar points to be honest. The only difference is that I'm complaining about how fucking retarded the idea is that you have to beat a clock or you're screwed. Same goes for zerg having to survive a certain point in the game. What I'm complaining about is how silly PvZ is and how retardedly broken both extremes are. If every protoss learned how to immortal all in like Parting there'd be a sickening 90something percent winrate for protoss in the matchup and well, people are slowly getting there which is why you see insanely well executed immortal all ins from more and more players. But if you took away the immortal all in there'd be no protoss wins except the ones that come from other (already figured out) all ins. All zerg would have to do is turtle up, expect a pre-hive all in and win. That's just how it would play out. The matchup is fucking bullshit because its "balance" relies on two imbalances clashing - except they don't clash. If one imbalance doesn't win, the other does. And that's the most retarded concept a matchup could ever have. And apparently blizzard still thinks zerg lategame is NOT unbeatable, that's what shines through their interviews most of the time. Well. Of course people are gonna complain. Sorry for the rant, won't talk about the matchup in LR threads anymore. It's not the right place, I admit that. Just getting more and more frustrated by it and especially by the lack of change. Enjoy the finals good man!

If the matches won't revolve all around immortal all-ins and zerg lategame, I'll be satisfied regardless of the outcome. They both are incredibly talented players. Looking forward to the games! By the way. If an angry Protoss reads this: Don't quote me stating things like "BUT WHAT ELSE CAN P DO AGAINST ZERG". I'm well aware of the fact that PvZ is poorly designed in many ways, but continuous ranting about this in a LR thread won't change shit. Edit: Typo
