The point is they got forgiven. Wintrading is cheating but you kindly elected not to mention what his crime was and equated it to streamcheating/maphacking. As i edited in, both TT1 and Dimaga were in fact also barred from tournaments. And other people following Combatex more closely might elaborate on his apology, i do recall some drama surrounding it as well. I didn't say anything about maphacking, just that they cheated. Cheating in a tournament is just that, cheating. They got banned from the tourney they cheated from, not WCG or anything like that. Just TSL.

I wasn't around when combatex did bad things so I'm not entirely aware of what he did and how bad it was, but right now he just seems to me like a guy who likes to have fun and enjoy himself, and bm's in chat to do so... he still stays respectful when it's needed so it really looks like its only done in good fun and well ... he performed pretty well there so ...

I say if WCG has any honor left they should just ban people like combatex... You've got a point, but Combat EX qualified and made his (improbable) run "fair and square". These things happen sometimes, due to variability, and he's got a decent enough base of skill to make this sort of unlikely thing even a possibility.
But anyways, I think there's an alternate way of looking at this. There's a side to this where Combat EX knows he's outclassed in this match, but he wants to make the most out of this - probably - once in a lifetime experience. And he did it with his characteristic BM'ing (which was half light-hearted and half trolling/unsportsmanlike), but in the end he showed respect to Parting when he went over to him in person.
In short, I don't think he's a sociopath. Definitely not a COMPLETE sociopath, anyways...

Comming from the FPS community, those manners discutions really hardly make any sense to me, can anyone explain why starcraft is so entitled to that? Is really any typing in chat during a game seen as that much of a bad thing?

Sure, you can call him obnoxious, you can hate him, you can want to punch him in the face, but i dont understand how people can say he should be banned from every tournament for cheating in something that is basically practice. would you ban a football player for cheating (facemask etc,) in practice? people might not like him but if he was good enough to play the game and played it properly when it mattered, he would be able to play.
