Comming from the FPS community, those manners discutions really hardly make any sense to me, can anyone explain why starcraft is so entitled to that? Is really any typing in chat during a game seen as that much of a bad thing?

No, some people just hate combatex and try to make him look bm/bad or something like this

No, he has never cheated in a tournament.

He has never cheated on a tournament, as far as anyone knows.

So let's ban him from tournaments preemptively, because who know? He might have cheated.. Imagine this logic being applied widly among all tournaments..

Did I say that? I think I missed something.

No, he has never cheated in a tournament.

Then i dont get what the big deal is. Sure, you can call him obnoxious, you can hate him, you can want to punch him in the face, but i dont understand how people can say he should be banned from every tournament for cheating in something that is basically practice. would you ban a football player for cheating (facemask etc,) in practice? people might not like him but if he was good enough to play the game and played it properly when it mattered, he would be able to play.

I could agree with that, if a Korean player that I don't remember now, didn't "cheat" in ladder, using rock-paper-scissors, and got banned for that.

CombatEX had a better map score than MarineKing AND YongHwa ... WHAT!?

Even though I'm not a fan of him I will say this. CombatEX used the format of the event to his advantage. In the group stages he apparently cheesed and cannon rushed then played straight up in the bo3 against parting. In the first game, even though he won, Parting was looking for it. He then cheeses in game 3 trying to catch parting off guard after playing standard in games 1 and 2. Really smart of him.

he got banned because ladder rank was how you qualified for gsl in the past. same concept as wintrading.

ps. it was choya.

edit: plus he was only warned, banned from teamleague only.

Hahahahaha how did MKP not at least win some money from this.

Either Adelscott/Lowey should win some decent money, gratz to them.

You indirectly implied that the fact it's not proven he has never cheated in tournament is important, which of course is not.

He can't get into RO8 in IPL with that many champion materials, I would say it is a good choice by him.

If he lost to Lowely it was probably better he didn't head to Vegas. Too much jet lag for a poor performance.

sure he can. mkp stands a good chance against hero, and then snute/violet after that. would've been a decent chance at top6

you get $200 for reaching Ro32 in IPL, WCG needs top 3 to winning anything whatsoever

yeah but MKP had a solid chance of top2 at least at WCG, more chance than a top4 finish at IPL haha

$200, does IPL pay for flights? If not, it isn't worth it.
