MKP should easily take his group, but everything can happen since he fucked around with 1base nuke rush against Darkforce last year as well.
Second best player in group D should be Turuk, but I don't really know anything about Jim, if he can do as well as MacSed, disregard my post. Jim is believed to be at the same level with MacSed and considered even better. But he is too young so short of experience. P.S. I am not familiar with CombatEX. But all you guys are talking about him. (I mean.. make fun of him XD) So... anybody could tell me something about his tale? Not bad, I only saw Jim at IEM Guangzhou, i think, and his lack of experience really showed there. ^^ Didn't look good at all there, maybe he'll be better today.

Given CombatEX's group, it is actually completely possible for him to make it out.

There are no CombatEX fans. There's a handful that mockingly identify themselves as such, but there's a reason why CombatEX is widely derided: he's a delusional narcissist with the temperament of a 6th grader in gym, not counting his cheating, begging for win trades, implausibly stupid BM and general unpleasantness.
The fact that he's in WCG right now just shows how much of a joke tournament it is. Everybody is watching IPL right now.

I'm a true fan of CombatEX. Therefore, your point is invalid.

would you care to enlighten us on why one would unironically self-identify as such

I am a true fan of CombatEX aswell. He is just fun and his stream is fun. It's a fun break from all the e-sports taking it self so seriously to just sometimes watch him bullshit people and do crazy stupid all in builds.

Anyone know which stream CombatEX will be featured on in a half hour?

How can I watch these games? I don't even see a starcraft stream, it's all dota and warcraft.

My sole existence makes your whole post invalid.

Are you kidding? Tons of people thrive on the entertainment provided from the mentally unstable. No one enjoys CombatEx because they think he's a rational, solid player. They enjoy watching him because they find humor in his oversized ego, idiotic rages/uncontrollable temper coupled with a solid dose of BM and primarily strategic(cheesy) play.
He's like a Destiny/IdrA, with major, major exceptions. But similar somewhat in the sense the target audience isn't for those who are there to see the "best-of-the-best" but rather personalities who are overly controversial and in your face. They love the egomaniac and become a fan.
I find some humor in shit like that, so I can understand, but I'd never actually be a fan.

Not really a IdrA fan but lumping him with Destiny / ComatEX doesn't really make a lot sense...
