I wish for a leenock/ryung semi at least. That would be amazing. Ryung is really really good and always seems to get left out when people talk about top players and such. Needs a bit of work on his TvP, though. Not that it matters for this season lololol

SHould they just stop playing? Where the hell are you taking this logic from? That's totally a fair comparison because soccer is just like SC2 in that the standard way to end a game is for the clearly losing player to quit when he/she has lost...

The easiest way to win TvT on ladder is get a contain going , get vikings for air superiority , and scan a lot and build sensor towers to keep track of his army .

Then again those games were pre queen patch so it probably won't be quite the same. I'm still fairly certain they will be extremely entertaining to watch. Ryung seems to be very comfortable and relaxed with where he's at right now, and that definitely affects his play to some extent.

Nothing is every over as long as these pros are still trying. The analogy still stands. In football and basketball giving up before the timer runs out is bad sportsmanship, is it not? If I recall, there was one game where it was MVP vs Leenock (think it was the Jjajki vs Leenock finals season?) and MVP was so clearly dead on Dual sight but never gave up and looked so incredibly strong despite having nothing (3 marine attack at 40 mins or something if i recall?). Granted he probably wouldn't have win in that situation but I don't recall people crying bad sportsmanship over it. If you're going to hate a player, fine, bring it out into the open, I have no quarrel against that but stop trying to make your attacks sound like they're legitimate especially when so many people on the LR are against you.

While it's obvious he was sad (and frustrated, as someone should be in this situation) MarineKing is respected by every korean pro player. You don't have to win a championship to gain respect, the fact that for 2 years he's been at the top of the game (falling off for a while) shows enough. At least he made ro8 twice in a row again! He just needs to regain his first half of the year form and he'll do just fine ![]()

I am a fan of both though and i prefer if Leenock wins, the guy is too cute.XDD Yeah I agree both are nice players and I like them both but Leenock has looked too great recently. I already really liked Leenock but I loved his tweets during BWC about Idra's play, just found it pretty hilarious. Should end up being a good series between him and Sniper regardless.

Oh well, don't even know who to root for now since neither Hyun or Ryung seem like valid players to be in the finals Please name me some football examples. There really aren't any unless you're talking about non-professional matches. Ryung deserves VERY much to win this season, stop being a hater. IF MKP deserved a finals he would have won.

I never said this. I never said SC2 is Soccer. I'm not comparing the sports. I'm talking about sportsmanship and the definition of it, and how it translates between sports. How the psyche of players is something to consider no matter which sport you're discussing.

Refusing to eat your broccoli is bad manners, trying to eat it even if you know you wont make it is not. Yummy.

I think it does mean more to MKP than many players, because he has come so close so many times. Getting to the finals and losing, twice, is not as bad as never making it to the finals. Just like you will be happier with 100k than you will with 200k after having a chance at millions. Cognitive bias and framing effects come in to play. Because MKP was so close so often, and has expected to win a GSL, this makes him want it more than those who never had a reasonable expectation.

Heart is still broken though. Both of my man-crushes (Taeja and MKP) not winning this season is killing me.
