Pretty much this. It's one of the few ways us sports fans can have conversations that feel like they actually matter.

I think Leenock is the zerg king of comebacks.
After watching his games against MVP/MMA at Providence and versus HerO/Squirtle in GSL, versus Life/DRG/Bomber in GSTL MLG.
Leenock always seem to find a way to facilitate comebacks. But he knows when to GG when the game is clearly over.
I respect MKP but sometimes he need to know when to GG. 200 supply to 30 supply is just.......... I understand his frustration but he isn't the only player that is losing games.

I thought the SC2 community was all about sportsmanship, guess not! How is it poor sportsmanship. Are you saying that in a soccer game, a team should just forfeit when they're down 3-0 and there's 20 minutes left? SHould they just stop playing? Where the hell are you taking this logic from? Having one cc,down half the supply is equal to being down 3-0 with 20 mins left in a football game?I don't think so. There are plenty of examples football and basketball where there is still time on the clock and players just choose to not play it out because the obviously lost. You're talking about MarineKing, known for being one of few that can make so much out of so little. Nothing is every over as long as these pros are still trying. The analogy still stands. In football and basketball giving up before the timer runs out is bad sportsmanship, is it not? If I recall, there was one game where it was MVP vs Leenock (think it was the Jjajki vs Leenock finals season?) and MVP was so clearly dead on Dual sight but never gave up and looked so incredibly strong despite having nothing (3 marine attack at 40 mins or something if i recall?). Granted he probably wouldn't have win in that situation but I don't recall people crying bad sportsmanship over it. If you're going to hate a player, fine, bring it out into the open, I have no quarrel against that but stop trying to make your attacks sound like they're legitimate especially when so many people on the LR are against you. I feel the same way every time a player refuses to leave in a clearly lost situation. MKP is just the most consistent offender.
Then it is strange you have a Slayers tag. Since Boxer was famous for trying till the end and his protege is Fantasy...

I think Ryung will have a good chance against Leenock, rather than MKP though. I feel that Ryung's patient positional play (much like Mvp, as someone pointed out) will fare better against Leenock than MKP's reckless play. GOGO terran hope!

Yup.
Anyway, I'm really pulling for Ryung. Got a good feeling this is his season.

Ryung outplayed MKP so much, it was a real pleasure to watch. And although I agree that MKP gg timing is BM, personally I think it might be benefical for some opposing players. I personally enjoy it when during laddering I know that the win is in the bag and the opponent is tilted so much that he tries to float the barracks or do pathetic base trades, or tries to fight with a handful of units with me maxed out. I feel It gives you a sense of superiority, and maybe it is the same for some pro gamers.

I agree that MKP does this more often than other players but this does no go any where beyond personal opinion and perception. If this really was "incredibly BM and really stupid to watch" then tomorrow we'll see GOMTV penalizing MKP for poor sportsmanship or some other reason they can come up with. If they don't then taking back some of the rather blatant comments about "SC2 community and sportsmanship" would be something you might want to consider.

Incredibly composed play from Ryung in game 3 and 4. With good preperations I think he has a really good chance in the ro4! Grats to Ryung!

Leenock often makes comebacks through burrow play. mainly roaches. Nice generalization of all zerg players when Leenock plays way differently and doesnt go mass infestors often at all.
