I can't understand why zergs gave up on the "get to 3 base lair, 2/2, build ten mutas and then just ROLL OVER the terran with ling/bane, use muta to snipe tanks and scvs."
It seems like there was two or three weeks earlier this year where I saw that every game, and Terran just could NOT make enough tanks to stop it (and marines got eaten alive). Three or four waves in, and the terran was gone, but then it just.... stopped happening and everyone went back to BL infestor =( Happens very often on Antiga, works very rarely

Come oooon HyuN. I'm willing to NOT cheer for a Terran just to see you go through, dude.

Kaelaeris (or however it's spelt) will always be the king of solocasting after that bo69.

Because tanks can be placed on the high ground with bunkers in the middle. Antiga is probably the hardest map to do it on. But then again, getting the 4th is tough for zerg so they try it there a lot more.

I don't agree. The fact they're able to banter so well and still give information like they do is what makes them the best duo there is.
They're entertaining and smart at the same time. Artosis' casting style is fine for those of us that know him already and really are looking for analysis to improve our own play.
But for the more casual observer you NEED guys like Tasteless that bring the hype and banter to the duo. It isn't the same without it. Just listen to the Koreans in the background.

Artosis sounds so disapointed that it wasnt the build he thought it was.

okay he's going mech, i was really worried he'd do the same strat again and hyun would scout it and repeat last game ;x

I've done it twice actually.
Once on a solo stream for a playhem tourney and once for ISTL when the other caster bailed at the last second. Both were around 6 hours in length.

The most vivid memories I have of it are actually on Daybreak.
Either way, this was before mech was prevalent, and it just flat out would NOT work against mech compositions.

No doubt a part of it not happening much on other maps is "why risk it?"

Same here, I really like Kaelaris, But Khaldor is one step above in my opinion.

Back when I used to cast for one of the Z33K Tournaments I'd go for 3-4 hours, but rarely more. Even just that was harsh.

Didn't necessarily mean that artosis alone is better than tastosis, just that he is doing a great job after being put in this situation. It is a refreshing and different cast.
