It's kind of compounded by how Flash plays too, he doesn't really adapt during a series. But Life's style is unique - not only are Terrans having difficulties adapting to it, Zerg's can't adapt to it - whenever they try to play like that they die.

Ah there is a difference. A big difference. MVP did a bad attack with few units that got cleaned up and then he lost. Like the army he pushed with was like 3 thors some hellions and 2 tanks. It wasn't big, he killed a hatchery but he put himself way way to behind and then died.

Infestors are just easily the best unit in the game. They throw out free stimmed marines at crazy rates.

I honestly don't get why with Fungal being so good against air that they even need them.

Like I was saying before, Flash is having trouble knowing when or how to tech switch. He doesn't actually scout a whole lot, either, so that isn't helping much. These kind of losses IMO are showing his inexperience (such as it is) with the compositions in SC2. It's obvious he can respond really fast, he just doesn't know the right response. Mech doesn't seem to play to his strengths, either; there's not not a lot of twitch advantage to slow-ass thors.

I think the only way to win as mech is to turtle like a madman and eventually go for super late-game with battlecruisers... Hellion runbys can be a good way to transition from mineral-heavy to gas-heavy units for a decent trade, but if spines are up that usually doesn't work very well.

The problem with mech is that zerg can tech switch too fast. Not enough thors? Mutalisks. Not enough vikings? Broodlords. Not enough tanks? Mass roach. Whichever you get low on, zerg can just pump it out like crazy.
