SC2 is "faster" than BW. You get to 200/200 very quickly. Unless you're playing mirror, one race is going to have a stronger max than the other. Z>P for example. One solution would be to raise the supply cap to 300. That way, there would be more of an opportunity to capitalize on a superior economy. Would a Zerg really want a mishmash of Infestors and Broodlords with lings and roaches against 250 supply of Stalker Colli.

Raising the supply limit wouldn't mean 300/300 of Infestor BL. It would mean tuning and perfecting that composition would not be viable.

I'm still quite convinced that 60 dmg siege tanks (60 dmg to everything) would solve a lot of problems. Sure would make mech a lot more viable since you would not need 10 tanks anymore to hold a choke against 30 lings. 3 tanks would be plenty.

Yeah they do. A no Energy Infestor is the most useless unit in the game. EMP is aoe, if you can use them against Protoss, why not Zerg?? It used to be standard meta when lategame Terran had 30 Ghosts and sniped/empd everything to death.

Infested terran can't stim.
They expire after short time, so you can retreat or give up a base or something.
Most importantly, ENERGY IS NOT FREE

Why else would you spend minerals and gas to upgrade energy capacity or starting energy.
There are more resources in the game of starcraft than minerals and gas. Time is one of them.
Never!
