Wow. This is certainly by far the most intricate platinum tournament I've ever seen. Christ. I'll need to think about whether I'll be willing to commit to that much time and effort or not, especially since it'd mean unvetoing all my ladder maps to practice on.
I've played most of my games as Protoss, but I've never reached a Diamond level with any race, and I belong firmly in Platinum with Zerg so I'm confident that I qualify on skill. That being said, I only have 630 games on NA. I have 1,070 on SEA, but I assume you can't check that.
I understand if you say no, but I've played 630 games on NA lifetime, and I've never been Diamond, on either server. Surely I can't be smurfing. 1000 games seems excessive, tbh.
I'm still not sure if I want to participate, but the first step is to see if I am permitted to or not.

I'm totally cool with you playing in the tournament.
An intricate tournament was what i wanted to do, because to me a simple Bo3s tournament is really boring. This tournament is very flexible, so you shouldn't have to much trouble fitting it in your schedule.

Hi, I am a platinum protoss from the North America server and would like to play in this tournament. However, I only have 459 games played.
I am really platinum, and not a smurf. I just don't get to play that much. You can see some of the threads I've posted on teamliquid already, I would not post for help and waste everyone's time if I'm only pretending. If you would like me to submit some replays to prove I am platinum level, that is fine.
However, I'm rather busy. You want us to contact the person we're playing and we have several days to get the games played, correct? So it's not like I have to play on one specific day?

You can play the 1000 games is just a guideline, yes you will contact the person and set up a time to play with them. You just have to play you games with in a reasonable time frame.

I signed you up, but as far as starting sooner that would be hard because 1 i'm really busy with school, and 2 we have about 40 people playing and all have to manage their schedules, which is why i gave it so much time.

Played about 800-900 games including teams is that alright? I was diamond (barely) for many seasons (8?) but as of last season I dropped down to platinum. I have barely played 1v1 since uh... Feb 2012.

People from the EU can not play people from the NA directly.
However, they can play through someone elses account, although that results in one player have a ping of 500 ms.

Right now not a lot of people from the EU are joining so I'm gonna say the EU tournament is off, unless you can get more people from the EU to play. If you want too you can get an account and play on an NA server if you want to put up with the lag.
