Definitely rooting for HuK and Major, but Vibe is VERY good so it'll be an uphill battle for HuK no doubt.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

even though neither of these guys won more than 1/3 of his games, at least they all showed fighting spirit unlike certain other individuals

Come on, MLG! Get yout stuff together...
Stream is lagging like hell!
Sorry if I sound rude, that is not the intention, but I don't care if it is own3d's fault, I bought PPV from you.
PLEASE solve this! It has been sooo many days with problems.
I just wanted to see the games after a really really busy day... :/
So frustrating!

Have you tried contacting Own3d's support to see if they had any suggestions for you?

I got an error 4 times in a row while trying to send the form last time we spoke.
And hey, I bought the pass from MLG, not owned.
So you should be the one giving me support, not them.
I know you tried, hammer, but you guys (you + own3d) should work in sync if you are offering a service together.
AFAIK, the traffic coming from own3d on your stream is not even coming from the brazilian end of Amazon's CDN... this is way below acceptable.

...I don't have a problem and haven't had a problem with the stream. Been watching on high quality for weeks. Have you tried contacting your ISP? Some of them throttle content. You might also want to make sure port 1935 is open (if you are on college internet for example).

I'm never done a LR but game 1 Huk Vibe is a MUST watch. And a bigger travesty than the so called Nightend-Stephano robbery on reddit (which Stephano was NOT outplayed).
Huk had sick harass but couldn't get over the hump. Couldn't get the toilets even with not much of an inferior army. 30+ min slugfest.. not turtling.

(Aside, as a Stephano fan, I hate ppl bitching when I'm sure 80+% ppl didn't actually see the nightend game.. Stephano was untouched and dominating the first 15 min+ 6 bases almost to 3/4 bases taking down nightends 4th twice. then he creates 20+BLs really fast with fast upgrades so he has no static defenses (lackadaisical) so obviously he gets overrun by harass... but his army is twice Nightends pure stalker army (no archons))

is this the "defend stephano from any cricism" thread? :o btw. huk was up in supply at some point 150 to 190 then he couldnt get the feedbacks and lost half of his army to fungles + broods at vibes fourth with the other half he wanted to leave, but his mothership got fungled and killed, from there it was easy for vibe because huk had no mothership, so one huge mistake cost him the game.

No I'm just pointing out that Huk should have really won the game..And it's ridiculous the amount of balance whine (first Life, then nerchio, then that game) that is rampant now.
Even me being a huge Rain fanboy if he gets smacked by DRG I'm not gonna cry about it, and neither will Rain (who has a fantastic attitude).

Was it about equal to Hero vs Leenock or not quite that bad? (Or worse somehow?)

somehow it was worse because huk was also up in supply if he could have do the right feedbaks he would won this easily but he got all his hts fungled and killed it was a very huge mistake in my opinion not like it was very good be leenock when he neural parasited taht mothership but it was simply sloppy by huk
btw. second game 2 base huk against a soon 5 base vibe 130 supply for huk maxed out vibe looks grimm ^^
game 2 is over in the end 200 supply vibe with broods and huk only 130 supply has nothing to deal with the broods ggs out.

game three is on cloud kingdom: huk fakes an immortal all in, but goes for the third nexus instead, vibe doesnt fall for it goes staight for the infestors and a fourth
huk goes for the threebase timing has a huge windows to do some damage but a lot of infestors and spinecrawlers in position
anyways fourth of vibe is down and huk goes back but doesnt realize the fifth of vibe.
huk is looking good this time even in supply storm fleet beacon and a fourth coming up for him, also kills the fifth of vibe with some zealots
huks not able to get his mothship up in time to save his fourth but kills the whole army of vibe because he had no overseers and the units of huk were cloaked, still in the end loses his mothership. vibe reinforces with lings and corrupters huk gets pushed back supply huk 130 vibe 160, but both on 4 bases.

O.o watching this PvZ is somewhat disappointing after watching HyuN vs Brown... no offense meant but Vibe could have pretty much won if he sent those lings into the mineral line instead of killing probes. Letting a couple of zealots kill his base. Seriously lacking in some multi tasking.....

stormdrops by huk doing decent damage, its looking good for huk, he is maxed out vibe on 170 supply desperately tries to secure a fifth base but is not able to do so

Hero v Leenock was tragic b/c Hero was in complete control of the game playing beautifully preventing bases etc. but let one neural ruin his day. Whereas Huk had chances to win but his execution is not nearly as good as Hero's.

i do my best but its already 4 am here i am a little bit tired, so i cant bring up my best english
game resumes: huk always harassing with zealots and stormdrops is now on five bases whereas vibe is still pushed back to four, vibe has only 1 chance in my opinion and this is the last fight with his broods and mass infestors
but this time huk is able to get some decent feedbacks and good storms on the infestors, and also a very nice vortex, meanwhile denying once again the fifth of vibe who has no other choice and ggs. 2:1 for vibe now

Alright! Got my stream going, lets do it HuK!

Map is Tal Darim alter, Vibe in top left, HuK in bottom right. Nothing crazy so far, forge first vs 15 pool 16 hatch, hatch goes down at Vibe's third due to HuK's probe at the natural and there's no rocks at the third there on TDA anymore.

And how is that a "travesty" sounds like inferior strategic play.

I'm referencing all the people saying ZERG OP, which may or may not be true, but Nightend did not significantly outplay Stephano. Unlike Hero outplaying Leenock. And Huk *was* outplaying Vibe for the most part but didn't execute well enough to win, so I just didn't want to hear any Zerg Op crap.

well, its just depressing to see hero loosing because of such a small mistake, and i dont think that if you harass well its already outplaying someone if you cant take your engagements properly, you should blame yourself because you did everything right except this engagement and its your own fault, its not like z is op atm but the protosses are just not careful enough especially na and eu some kr protosses are very careful in their engagements such as hero or rain. thats why zergs are always on top in eu their main factor is macro and they do it pretty well, the only one who tries to take his engagements careful is mana.

HELL YEAH!

HuK pushes out with a huge stalker force and caught Vibe with his pants down. Vibe had his pants around his ankle's as DT's had been pantsing him for the last fifteen minutes.

Lets go HuK!

well, its just depressing to see hero loosing because of such a small mistake, and i dont think that if you harass well its already outplaying someone if you cant take your engagements properly, you should blame yourself because you did everything right except this engagement and its your own fault, its not like z is op atm but the protosses are just not careful enough especially na and eu some kr protosses are very careful in their engagements such as hero or rain. thats why zergs are always on top in eu their main factor is macro and they do it pretty well, the only one who tries to take his engagements careful is mana.

Well said, I get that the Zerg deathball is nearly unstoppable, but there are ways Protoss can win. Unfortunately it's too easy to neural the mothership, but if that doesn't happen, Protoss has chances on 2-3 base timings, or limiting the zerg economy. It's just that Stephano already built a killer (and well upgraded) army.

I understand how the format works; what I was asking is the rationale behind it, aka why?

They wanted to make sure atleast one or two foreigners got the free pass to Dallas would be my best guess. Plus the logner foreigners are in the better for ratings/viewer numbers. So this guarantees foreigners into the semi finals.

No worries I've been in the LR reading position more times than I can count. Let me know if you want more detail with some things, first time really LRing, but this series deserves it I figure.

Game 6 begins on Metropolis.

Vibe Spawns top Left, HuK at Bottom Right.

Nexus first for huk, 15 pool 15 hatch for vibe. Commentators saying how each is totally happy with going to late game... Hate to say it but I'm not sure I agree to be honest.

HuK cancels stargate, Vibe has a roach warren but isn't preparing for HuK's incoming all-in (8 gate +1 I think? I'll check)

HuK takes down some probes at Vibe's third, takes down Vibe's natural, supplies about equal around 80 supply. Looks like that was 5 gates that were up I think.

Top 8 get seeded into group play at MLG so that means 4 Kespa, 2 NA, 1 EU, 1 KR from this tourney.
Those 4 kespa - flash, soo, hyvaa, and soulkey, should be dominant!
And we'll have 2 NA fodder as well.

Last five minutes were pretty intense. Vibe gets scared and makes quite a lot of units, pokes at HuK's third and HuK chases the raoches and keeps chasing and chasing. He gradually pushes into Vibe's territory, the big engagement happens, my heart jumps into my throat as a fungle hits all the sentries but HuK ff's well and his stalkers and immortals push back the forces of vibe, he runs down into the third, forcefielding behind him and slaughters everything. Vibe GGs

GAME SEVEN WOOOOOT!

Think I'm gonna watch it on my big screen here via HDMI so you guys are on your own for this last game. I'll post a recap of it afterwards though.

Forge first and 15 pool. HuK delays the natural of vibe decently well, it goes down at 17 supply.

I was distracted for a bit there. HuK kinda pokes around Vibes third with a zealot, goes stargate but the phoenixes haven't done muh yet but hold the phone picks off some queens!

That's much better. I'm starting to get the feeling that this LR thread is showing me I like to be surrounded by "Yes" men.

By the way, if HuK loses, just tell me that he won and make up some story. At I'll be happy until Inside The Game airs tomorrow

Those comments above my last point are accurate. The greater spire of vibe is up, and undefended. Warp prism goes into the main, HuK's army is in mid of map and shuts down an attack of HuK but HuK's fourth is delayed. After that attack and vibes re supplying it's around 170 supply each

I just don't understand why Huk stopped expanding and went all in. It was pretty stupid... he had such an advantage all game until he just randomly stopped macroing..

That is a frustrating loss, no mothership so little he could do there.

First, Bomber and the proleague player should run that group. but it's not really that weak. Scarlett has the potential for a big upset. either way I expect the Kespa player to dominate that groupm with Bomber or first(depending on how Bomber is playing now) taking second by a good margin

NP.

Damn. So close.

Anyways... See you guys tomorrow I think. I'll at least try to LR flash vs Soo, the LRing is kind of fun actually.

Argh! That last game though! When HuK shut down Vibe's fourth it was looking so good!

Group C and A are by far the strongest groups with Group C looking insane. Can't wait for this!

I don't think shutting down the 4th was enough when Vibe had 2 hatches in the top right waiting to be saturated. Had Huk killed those bases too then he would have had a much stronger stranglehold and I don't think Vibe could have reached BroodLord tech as quickly.

Great series nonetheless.

Group A has Leenock, Hero, and a couple of other Tosses. With Taeja-Life in group C, rematches abound!
But I'm definitely looking forward to Kespa dominations - 3 zergs + FLASH.

Yes, Life was one of the 3 players that got through the KR qualifiers (along with San and Bomber)

Someone please finish this (and correct it). I give up trying up to recall..

Group A - Leenock, Hero, Oz, Vibe, San, Proleague#4
Group B - Naniwa, TheSTC, Grubby, Hwangsin, BabyKnight, Proleague#3
Group C - Life, Taeja, Violet, Revival, Major, Proleague#2
Group D - Heart, First, Bomber, Daisy, Scarlett, Proleague#1

Each group also has 2 open bracket qualifiers spots for a total of 8 players per group. 4 groups * 8 = 32 group players.
*Proleague finishing orders are yet to be determined

Group A - 3P, 2Z
Group B - 1T, 4P
Group C - 2T, 3Z
Group D - 2T, 2P, 1Z
6T, 9P, 9Z (including kespa)

Dammit all my struggling

No one I heard has lag, just rewinding/ fast forwarding is difficult (you need to let it buffer)
