Format 4 Player Single Elimination Tournament RO4: BO5s Finals: BO7 Heart of the Swarm Client
Well guys, this wouldn't be all that exciting if we already know the winner before the tournament started. I decided to cast to keep it fun and let it be anyone 's game.
So to follow up on the person above, is major on the team still or did he quit or get the boot again? He doesn't have an interview at NASL's studio either, just vibe, catz and tt1. Is he even still playing in this?

Seems to me his is gone. He isn't listed on the team site either

All of this is quite strange, but Fitzy and Puck are also not listed on the site either and last night all the ROOT guys in studio were joking about Major in their typical way. If anything was wrong I don't think they'd poke fun at him as they usually do. It is weird that his twitter's gone though.
Major is still on Root guys ^^ he's happy and everybody is having fun , he deleted his twitter cause he felt it was a waste of time and rather practises, site just isnt updated I guess ^^;;

hah what a sick prize pool for a simple 4 player beta tournament. Really happy to see Juan really fitting in more with the team rather then his previous experiences with teams where it seemed he didnt mesh well and would end up leaving etc.
I think you need to consider that you don't have the premier Korean players, so you should focus more on this stuff while you try to build up a league that has competition similar to the other two foreigner leagues.
I think more interaction with teams like this are good. I think your biggest assets are Rotti and Bitter because they have a great combination of being analytical and quite entertaining at the same time. I think HOTS stuff is good too. I know I'm more interested in seeing these tournaments.
Hi I just heard bitter announce they would help players giving feed back on what they are interested in as far as content involving HOTS beta was concerned. I loved the Decision Making content with the Root guys so seeing more of that about hots would be great with other teams and the battle royale is great too. I would like to see EG on doing similiar things and complexity too since they seem to be interested in the hots beta alot. I see alot of complexity hots content on husky's youtube channel so maybe even fun games like FFA would be entertaining if you could get them all there. Up to date patch info during broadcast is great too. also I notice on the bnet forums that dustin browder and davyie comment a lot so maybe giving note to their replies to the forums could be useful as well. I'm actually going to buy a season pass since thats the only way to see the content for tomorrow and I'm really interested in the new units. it would be nice if you could get morrow on he has been streaming alot of hots so his play should be good. for the most part you guys have it down pretty good so keep up the good work and thanks so much for everything you do ! <3
That game was silly, but kind of cool as a peek into some styles we might see. Vipers + Ling/Bling/Ultra/Festor seems really fun to watch. The Mothership Core seems like a cool game changer too - PvZ seems to be closer to old TvZ, lots of chances for engagements throughout the whole game.
Heart of the Swarm team league for fun? You could have complexity, EG, Root, and whatever other professional teams have HOTS accounts. It would be sick!

This would be a great idea for their next offseason. I imagine they will wait until the HotS release for Season 5 anyway, since it's so close, so a preparatory HotS team league would be a perfect primer.
I would really really like to see a random "timing" moveout from Protoss when the zerg is power droning. Just to force units and just recall out. Don't keep the MSC out in front with your army but in the back so it serves like a nydus canal for the army. Dunno if this even makes sense it's so late >.<
Oh and entomb is still... meh. It's not about the power of the spell really, but the mana cost and the shift queue factor
NASL has become so much better than previous seasons with all the new segments and the new hires. Show has spirit now, and a great team of casters. Keep it up!

TT1's use of Entomb is really good.
I hope they give us more incentives to not use WoL units.

Indeed. Fungals would have wrecked that army right there, but props to Vibe for trying out the new stuff!

Yeah. Definitely seems like a weird synergy with the low HP/decent damage being the buffer for high HP/low damage unit. I can definitely envision swarm host being a great multi-base harassment unit since you need detection + the number of units to kill them.

He's openly admitted he doesn't practice WoL much anymore, so it would've been a pretty pointless vote TBH

When I saw that part of me nearly jumped in excitement from the times I've caught infestor trains like that. But knowing how CatZ felt I feel bad for that moment of bliss.
Why not switching between roaches and lings against this?
He has a dozen tanks and 2 thors sitting on his base and kept throwing roachs at it when a round of lings could have gotten in under the tanks and forced an unseige/caused a lot of splash.
