They are almost the same skill. That was a close game until Stephano lost his army in mid. You seem to be a mindless hater.. Were you looking at the banks of each player? Taeja not only won the major battles he had the superior bank the entire time. It was a convincing win. Stephano was thoroughly outplayed throughout the entirety of that game. so you're basically saying stephano spent his money better?
Having 4 k minerals and no gas as zerg lategame is not "spending your money better", guy.

But Taeja wins on the two most T favoured maps of the map pool, but looses on a balanced one. Would like to see more games of these two against each other, i don't think taeja will win a BO5/7/9 l.o.l. hes right... If you think metropolis is in any way terran favored then you are one hilarious dude. Yeah it's clearly Xel'Naga favored

Good way to end the day. Time to leave before this devolves into Terran vs Zerg + Fans vs Anti fans

To be clear, both of them played amazing. Today TaeJa just got the edge, maybe we will get a repeat of this match at the finals,

Group a - Taeja/Stephano (Could go down to Mapscore due to Stephano's inferior ZvZ) Group b - Lucifron/Violet Group c - Sase/Demuslim Group d - Socke/Vortix Group e - ForGG/Bling (Moon's PvZ is quite weak) Group f - Hero/TheSTC Group g - Feast/Elfi Group h - Nightend/Protosser Did I get every one right except Socke? If only Liquibets were open for this Nah you missed on quite a few. Protosser, Bling, Socke. Maybe more? Cant remember. At least 3.
I missed the Taeja/Stephano game so couldn't catch the end results :/ But Moon got through? Which means he'll lose every game tomorrow

And metropolis = just turtles and adds ravens. Not hard. And i've never loose against Zerg on this one neither. If you can get to this ultra late game, terran can't really loose on this map.
you should go pro

All split maps are terran favored in the late game. Shakuras, Metropolis, Metalopolis, etc. Terran just takes his half of the map and turtles and pushes out with a super army.

is rascism now a meme in LR threads?

No, you got Demuslim, Bling and Protosser wrong as well. Sad for Socke, that he once again does his signature move of getting eliminated by map-score.

Terran gets as much economy as they want for no cost, whereas zerg has to be everywhere to stop super-cost-efficient drops, and then when it comes to a fight, terran gets to sit in a choke and have almost no surface area open, while destroying brood lords easily with seeker missiles. Stephano lost this game by mis-microing. He had to just lock down the ravens and vikings with fungal and kill them with his corruptors when he he still had a maxed army with all of those units. Instead he decided to head-butt into Taeja's perfectly defended main, where Taeja was able to abuse the cliff so that Infestors could never reach his Vikings.
As if it was so easy lol
tanks are there to snipe infestors approching. PDD just totally deny corruptors shots.
Its a bit like this : raven + viking > corruptors + broodlord > tanks > infestors > vikings + ravens
Very late game is totally terran favored.

I agree, he tries to go ultra and brood lord so he has to skip infestors, you cant go against that bio ball with >10banelings as your only aoe.

Taeja didn't play that great. He made a lot of mistakes, like getting his entire army caught unsieged in the beginning. Got himself harassed non stop by a handful of zerglings and a single infestor. His drops weren't that effective. And he had an early game advantage with that hatchery cancel. He didn't look solid. I hope he plays better tomorrow.
Compare this to the game MMA played against Stephano on this map in IPL, now that was absolute domination. MMA made Stephano look pathetic in that game.

Great series, both players look in really scary form.
