Metalopolis is Z favored. I did not see the first map but there isn't really a T favoured map anymore in TvZ.

Split maps are always terran favored.

Looks like you might be a France main rather than terran, if you get my meaning.

They certainly look like two of the best in the tourney!

If they make HerO and Taeja teamkill each other again, I will be super mad.

Is nice to have korean terrans on foreign teams, they're keeping the race distribution nice and even (come on EU T!)

5p 5t 6z

Will be interesting to see if anyone plays tired tomorrow, Naama is definitely sounding a bit angry about how long he had to play for today with the format (he didn't get through so that probably doesn't help =p)

also fuck yeah cloud

Ok so its over.
Fantastic day one, great lineup, great matches awesome quality and no laggs.

With this and WCS dreamhack learn all of my respect, frankly MLG and even GSL should take notes, that was PERFECT,congratz again to the whole dreamhack crew.

Regarding the group stages, phase 2 was really interesting.
I'm surprised and happy with this ClouD performance(i'm also happy with Nightend great matches ),it feels like we need more Italian players badly,Feast was being godlike, the rest went as expected pretty much (a bit of a letdown for Naama)

RIP MKP

Taeja didn't play that great. He made a lot of mistakes, like getting his entire army caught unsieged in the beginning. Got himself harassed non stop by a handful of zerglings and a single infestor. His drops weren't that effective. And he had an early game advantage with that hatchery cancel. He didn't look solid. I hope he plays better tomorrow.

Compare this to the game MMA played against Stephano on this map in IPL, now that was absolute domination. MMA made Stephano look pathetic in that game.

Stephano was way behind that game. It's easy to make someone look "bad" when you have a massive lead.

Every map is always terran favored.

Is basically what you're saying with that, FYI.

He wasn't "way behind". They were about equal, Stephano just wasn't cost effective enough in the main engagement.
And maybe he lost too much gases defending drops, I dunno.

he got way behind because mma had that once a month game where you just play super cost effectively and take all possible advantages and capatalise on all opponents errors
