Maybe if he actually grew some balls and actually went to korea with the big boys, I'd respect the guy a lot more.

Being rich and famous does not give immunity to being an arrogant prick. The community does not need someone to fill in the role of the arrogant but talented foreigner, and never will. Two questions: 1) Do you consider starcraft 2 tournaments to be competitive? 2) If so, why should it be treated differently from other sports in terms of dominant players trash talking? If SC2 is the first thing you have ever watched competitively then I guess it explains your disdain for trash talking.

And to you idiots arguing, take that shit to Reddit. I'd rather keep all the keyboard warriors in one place. That way, they're easier to avoid and ignore.

I don't recall many sportsmen, no matter how cocky trashtalking, after they pick up their prizes. Boxers for example talk an insane amount of trash to hype up their fights, but don't tend to do so after.

He barely dropped any games; it was relatively easy for him. To your boxer comment: Mohammad Ali anyone? + Show Spoiler +

As for Stephano, I think that his arrogance is probably a little bit of an act as well. He is pretty much like an occasionally bm/non-korean version of MC, at least to me. But I dig it. As long as he performs, I like his character as part of the sc2 professional community. I don't think it is hurting e-sports xD

Where can I find a recommended games list, should one exist? If there isn't one, are there any sets that are must see? From the sound of the LR thread, Stephano had some awesome ZvZ micro/decision making. Day 1 Stephano v Lucifron was the best series by popular consensus. Entire series is good Day 2 Grubby against Nerchio, game 2 I think was also a sick game

Because he is one of the only players in all of eSports to not have a team. Because he has been doing this since WC3 days. Because he is a really cool guy. Because he loves eSports more than we do. Mediocre play? Watch him play against Nerchio.
