Khaldor wanted to cast and said that he wasn't allowed to because the situation was tense between ESF and KeSPA after the GSL-OSL crisis. When it was ESF only, he could cast, really need a map to figure where the veto comes from?

Food for thought. The 'top' 45 GSL players are already in Code A/S, the 'top' 6 Kespa players are already in Code A/S. The rest came out to 50/50. I am not saying Kespa isn't catching up (they are and they should be). But if you are trying to argue they (as a whole) are on even ground now, the prelims definitely did not show that.

Yeah, that's good and all, but you should just watch Flash, Fantasy, By.Sun, and other Kespa players. They are clearly on even ground now

I wonder when top koreans start playing hots beta.

I think a few have been trying it out (Taeja was streaming it I think) but I don't think they will get into it seriously until the big tournaments switch. And from the HoTS tournaments now, it seems the maps are a bigger factor compare to the units. Of course, it does take long for units to be incorporated into competitive builds.

Only a select few (<10 or so) ESF players are as good as the top ESF players. Only a select few (<10 or so) kespa players are as good as the top kespa players. The top Kespa players are almost as good as the top ESF players and then both groups fall off below.
