He hit a surprise with the mutas MC had no time to react to them not outplayed at all, everything after that was all MC playing incredible and JD making some poor decisions

Does GSL allow map vetoes to players? I thought every P/T would veto Whirlwind against Z.

turns out vortex is pretty good against clumped up broods

i play protoss, root for MC, but that was just a stupid stupid stupid game; zergs needs to abuse timings as the mothership is building; there is such a huge window to just push into protoss with ur 1st set of brood infestor

WELCOME TO THE BOSSS TOSSSSSSSS

Jaedong threw that hard :/

Well that game sure didn't live up to the hype.

You kill them when you get the smallest of opportunities.... Stupid complaint after you were one of the people screaming about how Jaedong had this game in the bag. He made a huge error, and multiple other small mistakes. Let's not pretend this is 2010 and we think the protoss deathball is unbeatable or something if you play it out properly. It wasn't a complaint, rather a reccurring theme we see with PvZ... 1 votex can change the game.
Yes, it kind of sucks. But without vortex, not sure how protoss can deal with BL/infestor given the current units.

On behalf of all sc2 fans who knows nothing BW, i apologise to everyone about Protoss lategame.
and to answer your question: yes we don't like it either.

Pretty much, lost about 10k in MC's Main, had all but 3 infestors caught invortex, and remade on corruptor ling.

No he made tons and tons of mistakes. I know MC is the king of scrappy games and comebacks but JD gave it away tbh

Eh, I'm disappointed with Jaedong so far. I fell for the hype. It will be cool to see him in a few months though.

JD just wanted to win 2-1.

not the first time a zerg loses because he micros his broodlords badly. Still very smart play by jaedong overall, making much more trouble than most expected him to do

1) he got ahead but then made 50 spines that reduced the bank gap, and then lost ~75% of his broods attacking in MC's main to kill a nonused nexus and some gates. Then MC got the better army and microed better

That put things about even, and then Jaedong decided he'd engage horribly and lost.
Simples.

Its ridiculous how suddenly Toss is OP when a BW star is losing
JD was not "totally outplaying" MC. He got a nice lead, then let MC max out again and had really poor engagements in the late game.
