Wow coaches are getting poached by Kespa teams at an alarming rate .
yeah should have included coaches into the no player transfer. Incredible though what a sc2 coach does to kespa teams in terms of strength (well its boxer afterall), so its understandable for them to try and grab them.
I've been thinking NesTea should just go to coaching now... he's behind the skill curve now and wont catch up
Nestea got top 8 in the last GSL...
I'm a huge NesTea fanboy, but he hasnt really done shit in the last year except come 2nd in Blizzcon GSL round of 8 is not exactly a big deal for a 3 time champion.
Uhh he also got 3rd at IPL4 (where in overall record he was tied with both the finalists) and 3rd at Iron Squid. Yes all these things are disappointing to the standard that Nestea set last year but to say he is falling behind the skill curve is idiotic. He is still without a doubt a top 20 player in the world and a top 5 zerg.
I'll never stop cheering for him, but I'll eat my own ass if he ever wins another GSL
that's what they said about mvp too with his wrists :p
MVP has always been a notch above though ... WHY CANT THEY JUST FUSE AND CREATE PROFESSOR VERY IMPORTANT.

yes seriously wtf parting played that perfectly o.o leenock had all the timings locked down and perfect amount of units to backstab with
that push is quite deadly when they hit you at just the right time and place
Is there any way you have found to stop it?
theorycrafting but i'd say stay 2 base and force them to drop forcefields with lings. like has lings on 3 control groups, hit from 3 sides. sentry energy is all that matters
I think protoss just takes a third if they see that the zerg is still on 2 base. I think you need the protoss to mismicro a bit. If he hits all his FFs and blinks, it is almost impossible to stop.

Yeah a lot of people had to eat their own ass on that one...

everything leenock does is the way you stop it, what he did is the exact text book style to stop this kind of push
both of them just played ridiculously good, i almost never see such perfect games
Then what was his mistake(s)?
there were no clear mistakes thats why it was so beautiful. i guess it just comes down to the absolute small things that we dont see on camera. hitting every inject perfectly and every drone on 50 minerals, things like this. basically execution for perfection. no game is perfect when you start looking into these kind of things
As a zerg player that is kinda depressing, gotta practice more I guess :D

Do you think he should have killed the core and then left his natural to have a stronger force at his main? Rather than losing chunks of his army he tries to attack with everything in his main?

MVP is actually turning into some fairly inconsistent player that either wins or drops early, but is still consistently in many tournaments in the long run
By the way, for anyone looking for the song used in the Daybreak map intro (the piano intro into the clean vocals), that was "Regression to the Meme" by Art By Numbers.

Mvp is a winner, he just wins when he shouldn't
I'm not sure nestea is the same way, he won back to back gsl in his prime by owning everybody and barely won open season 2 vs mkp.
Yeah but then he also was completely undefeated that season as well...

If you look at the whole picture then Mvp is pretty damn consistent.

Which is like almost all players. The competition is so tough in Korea that ANYONE can drop early. Creator won WCS and then FAILED to make his U&D group...

outside the finals that is
details, details.
anyway I think in very recent months nestea has declined in his play a lot compared to april/may this year where he had good finishes in ipl4/iron squid.
