Apart from both Happy and Vampire losing. In which case there will be four people at 3-2. And we will have the first four way tie. Not sure what the rules are on tiebreakers in that instance. if yugi and creator win, there's a tie i think

If they took him out, it'd unbalance things since not everyone has gotten the chance to play him yet.

I think the reason for this is that his first 2 'tank' wins was because of his opponents comp. The main problem with tanks is they can be countered very easily with zealots and immortals (they own stalkers/colossi/sentries). So you have to push before zealot knows you are going tanks and gets the right comp. So you are pretty much on a clock once you decide to go tanks.

Snova's army was basically: Marines + Tanks + some medivacs Vampires army was basically the counter required. If Snova had won that battle then it would have been Vampire's poor control. He rolled earlier opponents who had low zealot and immortal numbers. But sure. Blame the tanks. vampire lost so many workers at the beginning for no reason at all. he played that game poorly and still came out ahead. snova also had tons of bunkers at the front and some marauders afair.

If Snova had won that battle then it would have been Vampire's poor control. He rolled earlier opponents who had low zealot and immortal numbers. But sure. Blame the tanks. "The counter required". That counter you speak of is the standard protoss army. Immortals now a PvT standard? Hardly. Heavy zealot sure. The rest somewhat was. There is also a positioning game involved and all, but "the counter required" isn't to tanks. It's to marine tank medivac. Honestly his tanks weren't in a great position. If they're so far back they're basically the "remainder" in the battle. Tanks don't do good alone. You want to save them because of the gas count, but when they're far back all they do is shoot zealots and marines and then when all that is dead some stalkers and immortals behind all that go "Oh just some tanks behind all this? Cool" I mean, it's not like I disagree with the fact that the Protoss standard army naturally includes counters to tanks. But that's not what makes them 'bad' vs Protoss. Just more a gripe that people blame tanks for the Protoss player actually countering the attack well.

If that is the case, then: i) If Yugioh wins, then Creator and Happy have tiebreakers of 2-1 and advance. ii) If Supernova wins, then Vampire and Happy have tiebreakers of 2-1 and advance.

Never thought Vampire could break it like that. I wish supernova had been a bit more active with dropping in units in the main and doing dmg, maybe even droping a siege tank there But the tanks ended up shelling his own bio more then hurt the zealots. Hopefully Blizz will remove autocast from charge like they've been talking. Source? Doubt it would change much anyway. It's the closing space not charge damage thats a real power of the ability. Not really surprised about that last engagement. Tanks in TvP come with attached timer. Once sufficient tech is out you are better off leaving them to defend harassment.
