I completely agree with all your points. All of his enthusiasm seems forced, too. He makes these noises at any point in the game, when nothing particularly interesting is going on.

gets kinda repetitive. i understand sports casting is the same thing however sports casting is moreso designed for people in a sports bar who cant see the screen to hear whats going on.
for SC i really like watching rotterdam casting because he manages to do it while barely talking about whats going on in the game, which is actually refreshing
