Similarly, the increased popularity that players receive simply because they are on a team means that their personal value skyrockets. tldr: Team Liquid deserves credit. You're right. Sending a player to a bunch of different event is a great opportunity. A huge number of Code A players could win tournaments if they were given the chance. I can't downplay that. The freedom and stability you mention are important too. I just give Taeja more credit than most for his wins, and TL.net a little less. I do the same for Korean Teams and players as well, but I give the teams a little more credit because I don't think you can deny they do a little more for their players in most cases (Taeja's actually might be different if the rumor you mentioned is true). Don't get me wrong, though, I think TL.net handles their players well. | ||
