I shouldn't be baiting but for the people who don't watch the Korean scene, Moon basically walked over MKP and 2 other members of Prime as if they were a piece of trash, it's only a matter of time and consistency til his name is back on top. Nonononono Jonnyrecco is SOOO much better! He beats up Europeans all the time! yea have some faith in starception, he knows what he's talking about

How can he say demuslim is better than puma though? Obviously Puma is more accomplished but it's fine to put that fact aside since we're talking about current results. But Demuslim has literally nothing to his name except a few wins over notables and that second place finish at wcs uk which had really easy competition. There's nothing there to say that demuslim is better than puma...

But sortof qualifying for WCS by getting a close 2nd in Sweden is clearly a fluke.

As a Suppy fan and one of his personal friends I think he will have a super hard time in his first match of his group tomorrow vs Naama, his ZvT is definitely his weakest matchup atm and Naamas unpredictability will hurt even more. That being said, Suppys strongest matchup is definitely his ZvP, so I see him surprising and beating one of the Protosses he faces tomorrow.
My (hopeful) prediction for that group:
MC > HerO Suppy < Naama
MC > Naama Suppy > HerO
Suppy > Naama
MC and Suppy advancing to ro8 (I believe!)

I'd love to make predictions, but I feel like predicting anything other than "Taeja takes it all" is playing against the odds. It won't be easy for him, by any stretch of the imagination, but seriously, I think he's got this.
TAEJA FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!

A MC > Suppy 3-0 MC's PvZ Naama < Hero 0-3 Hero beat Mvp, a 4 time GSL champ who beat Squirtle
MC > hero 3-2 MC 3-1'd two PvP's in first groups Suppy > Naama 3-1 Suppy is Zerg
Hero > Suppy 3-0 Hero PvZ
MC, hero advance
B Taeja > Nightend 3-0 Taeja is 16-2 in TAC Mana > demuslim 3-1 Mana good PvT and won dreamhack
Taeja > Mana 3-0 Taeja 16-2 in TAC Demuslim > Nightend 3-1 Nightend's win against puma was a fluke since Puma beat sase
Demuslim < Mana 2-3 Mana TvP is good
Taeja, Mana advance
C fOrGG > Moon 3-2 beat jonnyrecco Idra > Puma 3-0 already beat puma in an IEM and took a game off of taeja and beat MKP in TAC
fOrGG < Idra 2-3 idra took a game off of taeja and beat MKP in TAC Moon > Puma 3-2 Moon beat demuslim
fOrGG > Moon 3-2 fOrGG beat jonnyrecco
Idra, forgg advance
D theStC > Sortof 3-0 theStC is a code S player, unlike sortof, who's had a series of flukes lately. sortof also lost to ganzi at mlg summer arena Titan < Kas 3-1 kas just a beast, no reason
TheStC > Kas 3-0 theStC beat jjakji in GSL Titan > SortOf 3-0 titan just a plain better player than sortof
Titan < Kas 0-3 Kas just a beast, that's all
thestc, kas advance I don't get the reasoning behind some of the predictions lol 16-2 in IPLTAC has what to do with this exactly? Beating Jjakji (who's TvT is most definitely the weakest of his matchups btw), beating jonnyrecco, beating demuslim, etc. don't really make sense... EDIT: never mind lol i fell for it. 16-2 in TAC shows that taeja is a great player. he only lost two times and got many all/4 kills and he's well rounded jonnyrecco and demuslim are great players.. beating them is no easy task. jonnyrecco is better than moon and demuslim is better than puma. if they can beat players like jrecco and demu, they should be able to take on moon and puma no problem bolded part = where the troll crossed the line let's see... when was the last time moon had an achievement in sc2? jonnyrecco, on the other hand, got 3rd place at wcs uk and qualified. same for demuslim. while puma goes on to being 3-0'd by mc at nasl 3, demuslim is busy qualifying for wcs by getting 2nd place. Enough with the trolling. Moon didn't even play Demuslim. Etc. Your logic is made up. Since when have I ever stated that moon has played demuslim? Stop putting words in my mouth...you're the one trolling here Your original post which is quoted. You have Moon beating Puma because you claim Moon beat Demuslim. So you are clearlylying by claiming that you said otherwise.

I'd love to watch Kas vs Ret. Anyone remember which stream it was so I can find the VoD, should one exist?

I could be wrong, but I think it was on main.

Nice results. SortOf continues to play very well! Wow! This guy may become one of europe's best zergs if he continues.
I'm surprised NightEnd did so well, especially in one of the most difficult and evently matched groups (imo) and I'm really happy for Suppy doing well after joining EG, especially against players like Kas and Ret!

I gotta say, the GD studio is doing a lot of things right, as far as production goes. They're hitting the nail on the head.
- When the game's over, right away a shot of the players--both winner & loser. Exactly as it should be. - Hosts talking about the brackets, so that the viewers know exactly at what stage the tournament is. - New results are immediately passed on to the viewer. - Interviews with the players from the floor, right after their matches. Awesome.
I can't think of many tournaments recently where all these things were taken care of, so AWESOME JOB 2gd STUDIO!

Half because they were amazing games, half because it's two giant figures in the SC2 community going toe-to-toe.
That said, I have full confidence that TaeJa can make it out of his group with relative ease.

You can watch it all on the GD studio's twitch channels.

Wow, good 1st day for EG.
