I think It's because GSL seasons are long and if you could wait a week and see the vods of every match there would be no reason to buy the ticket, you could just watch the tournament and pretend you're not a week ahead. This is just a guess, GOM has a different agreement with Blizzard than MLG does of course. They only have the first match of every series as a free VOD so I guess that's their system. GSL open seasons 1-3 are actually completely free to watch now, maybe in the future they will keep making old seasons free. Probably don't expect to see 2012 gsl season 3 vods for free for another 2 years though | ||
