Ahh... dat anti-stephano bias. I love how calling Stephano the "best foreigner outside of Korea" constitutes anti-Stephano bias. You can't argue with facts. But to say he wasn't underperforming when he made clear mistakes vs Oz that even code B zergs wouldn't make is rather silly. Oz played well, yes, but Stephano played poorly. Be it anti-steph bias or korean bias, it's still bias in one form or another.
Also, to say that after coming off a victory vs one of the best PvZers who is currently in the finals..........

Exactly. I always hear "why are people trashing on Stephano, why do they just not accept he's the best foreign zerg" or whatever when no one said that, ever. People sometimes say "I hope Stephano doesn't win" or whatever but fanboys go crazy. And even now, after Taeja and Alicia were in the finals, and Taeja was a Liquid member on teamliquid.net, this thread has become a Stephano discussion again for NO REASON. This literally happens in every LR thread where Stephano can possibly be discussed...anything from a tourney he was in, to someone facing a player he faced, etc. The GSL Semi's thread become a discussion about how great Stephano is and how he did better than DRG versus MC. That's what annoys people.

Oz was more locked down in is PvZ than I've seen to date that lines up with the current playstyle. I'm glad he was able to display a commanding style towards Stephano who has been dictating the matchup as of late. Not to take anything away from Stephano, he played well but I think it's rather objective (disregarding results) that Oz outplayed him heavily.

You do realize I merely said that zergs didn't make top 4 because DRG and Symbol weren't there and Stephano underperformed right? I in no way tried to start this silly discussion. Someone jumped on my case and said Stephano didn't underperform but just can't compare to Code S Koreans, which is a completely stupid remark.
So again, it was started by anti-fanboyism. Not the other way around.

why are we arguing about stephano when there are more pressing issues like LIQUID TOOK HOME THE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDD
this hasn't happened since hero won dreamhack and should be the cause of extreme celebration

It's been said that Oz is a very preparation-based player by people who know him well, and that he's good friends with Nestea who also influenced the way he prepares for matches (and we all know how well Nestea is capable of preparing). In light of that, it's awesome to see that show in his play in how he's coming up with new builds and generally new things to contribute to each matchup. That's what makes him one of my favorite players.

I'm sure he'll get plenty of chances, being on TL.
