BW and SC2 are different games and the players have to actually know where to spend their APM effetively. I'd say its easier for them to multitask in a game that requires much more multitasking when they've played that game for many years than sometime new. When these players eliminate steps their brains take in making decisions, their multitasking will naturally go up as they familiarize themselves more and more with the newer game.

sc2 batlles are faster, and all decides in seconds -agree sc2 needs more multitask -completely disagree whats wrong with you guys, you really played SCBW to make that kind of statement? SC2 its all about timing, unit composition and positioning. SCBW its BASED in mechanics and multitask.

SC2 macro is not anywhere close to BW's difficulty, but while SC2 macro isn't nearly as difficult as BW's, control and decision making has very significant importance in SC2. there are many BW pro players that made their way to pro status purely through great macro mechanics but lack great control or game sense. for these BW pro players, transferring their amazing macro mechanics from BW to SC2 doesn't mean much because the SC2 skill ceiling for macro isn't that high, but the skill ceiling for control, decision making, and reaction in SC2 is very high.
