I can think of plenty top foreigner protoss and a couple of T. What top foreigners T? Kas, beastyqt, lucifron? They're not on par with mana, nerchio stephano, huk. Ok thorzain won, a DH but that's all fro foreigner T entire SC2 history I think. Naama won a dreamhack Ok another DH for terrans, & also 2 ro4 for jinro in GSL if I'm not mistaking. Terran is the race which depends a lot more from army control, Korean T are always bringing it to a new level, I'm fine with the current balance, I want to see how far the Korean terrans can go to improve it. Byun for exemple seems to have figured out TvP atm. I think he will win GSL if MC takes DRG out. if you miss one forcefield as toss you're dead. if your zealots aren't in front you're dead. if your immortals, sentries, colossi, etc. get sniped, you're dead. If protoss doesn't miss a forcefield, the terran is dead... If protoss zealots are in front, the terran is dead... If terrans can't snipe an immoral, sentries, colossi, they are dead... So basically, the terran DEPENDs on the protoss to make a mistake, if they don't, you are screwed. Exactly, you can kite decent and emp well and still get rolled in engagements as Terran by an a-moving Protoss with good storms/collosus..

To be fair, this is a bit of an apples vs oranges situation. Terran takes a lot of micro, but most of it is very mechanical, like stutter-step or splitting vs banelings. It's stuff you need to practice a lot, and you need a lot of APM and accuracy in order to pull it off well, but you mostly just do your thing and don't need to react much. Protoss micro, on the other hand, is purely reactive. Forcefields and Blinks don't take that much apm, they take accuracy and timing, and often great reflexes. They also depend totally on what the opponent does. Every fight needs its own good FF placement, there's no repetitive pattern to it, you just need to figure it out on the fly. This is why we see missed forcefields a lot more often than bad marine splits vs banelings, for instance. Not sure which is harder, but they are very different.

These little player synopses before each player arrives are really great, I love the red carpet entrance, and I love the "players facing each other" booth (which I'm sure was done before but is still good). I don't watch the NASL season just because it's not that interesting (I go peek at the highly rated sets). But this is as good as watching an MLG, but without the 6 hours downtime of adverts and crowdshots in between sets ^_^ Actually, NASL deserves credit for the "face-off" booth

I find it funny, probably depends on how much you like day9. I really disliked him before and found his quirks awkward, but now I love them and him too. I like Day9 in general, his humor, his commentary, his dailies. Just not his narcissistic side of his that he displays sometimes (like, do you really need to control a crowd with your own memes? Just make them applaud and cheer, not make them perform a weird cult dance :D).

We'll probably find out in the final. ![]() ![]() yup, ret's zvz is totally better than steph's Because his all time record is completely relevant. His ZvZ as of late has been pretty bad, he has said so himself. When Stephano says his zvz is bad, it means it's not great lol. he's still pretty good at it.
