I really hope that isn't the case though, it would really be disappointing to see such a dumb mistake made by whoever's supposed to be choosing the maps. someone earlier in the thread posted pics of earlier games on the map with supply depots showing.
Those weren't from this serie I think...

I hope Byun wins though. PvP's are too nerve-wracking for me to watch.

Still, MC was just coming off of a flight after HSC too ^^ MC's best matchup is PvZ, he says. Also: I looked on TLPD. This year, MC and DRG are EXACTLY 50% against each other, at 6-6 games. Ah yeah, I think I remember that too.
GET HYPED! :D

Indeed. Dude was just making crap up to try and cause drama that isn't there.

So there should have been a depot? Fuck that is lame. But Professor T played bad today. Sad but true.

Ehh, I dunno man, DRG vT seems like he'd just roflstomp ByuN.
But hey, maybe ByuN is truly capable of pulling out God Mode and taking DRG out, I can definitely see that being the case...

To be fair, Nestea's play today was poor. All the other players that lost all played well (Taeja, Symbol, Naniwa)

Naniwa is boring to watch. That is YOUR opinion. DRG is stronger overall player, but the class S micro from Nani always shows off interesting games. compare that serie to Seed vs Symbol. Look at the builds/decision making from Seed. Watch Nani's game plan. Frankly, if DRG keeps playing like he did in this series, both MC and Seed should be able to stomp him easily. Symbol played way better yesterday than DRG did today, and still lost.
There are several options: DRG play bad, as simply as that, or he got cocky or he had trouble vs Nani's build. The last one doesn't seem true since he did quite well against the 2b 4gate, so he has to step up if he wants to beat MC.

Well you see, it's simple really. Some people are just morons.

Can someone find me some games from this season to see if they have been using different versions all season or have they just been stealth changing it.

Naniwa had more moments of brilliance, but a few small mistakes ended up being his downfall.

They used the wrong version of Antiga in DRG vs Hero at IPL Hot Import Nights, too. I think it's a conspiracy to keep the Zerg down. Who's with me?

He himself got emotional over making it to a ro4 for the first time in a long time.
I feel like every godlike SC2 player has kinda lost that aura of ultimate power right now. Things that have put players on top in the past like being a mechanical beast, a crazy metagamer, a creative player, and stuff just doesn't cut it any more. You have to be able to do pretty much everything well to even stay in the GSL right now. The range of strategies in SC2 is becoming absurdly large, so it's really gonna take a true genius to climb their way to the top and stay up there. It's a really exciting time in SC2 though. I feel like in the next year or two we might see the first true SC2 bonjwa!

Yeah, Byun played well but Nestea played terribly. It's easy to look a lot better when the other guy looks so bad in comparison.

That's not GSL_Metropolis.
It's funny because that link is actually the wrong version of the map <_<
John's twitter has already said there were no neutral depots on the GSL version of the map...
EDIT: That's also an old as hell picture?
