Did anyone understand why DRG was "nicking" before evry game, it was like someone askt if he was rdy, or if he could here them..

I think Naniwa watched a lot of DRG game and realized he is really powerful in the late game. That's why he pretty much did all-in one after another. It proved quite powerful because it put DRG in a rubber match. However, I think MC > NaNiWa in doing all-in So if MC follow NaNiWa example, with better micros, I think it's going to be awesome.

So sad Naniwa botched his army control in the very last fight, I think he was in a good position to take the game. The warp prism flying over the creep was sad too, he probably could have denied the 5th :-/

Anyway impressive play from both players and really nice game, hope Naniwa keep performing well in the next GSL.

It doesnt matter that he had good micro, he would send his units and lose half of them cause of not paying attention or letting them be split while walking to destination, or move comanding into enemy army and instead of winnign losing bunch of stuff. His mistakes were huge and dont belong at this level of play. He had great builds but executed them poorly.

It must be you who is blind. Watch games 2-3. Naniwa lost cause of crappy control of his units in a possition he had an advantage in.

I'll have to agree that Seed was more impressive to me and showed better games and more interesting builds (Tasteless going overboard with the hype as usual) but Naniwa definitely proved his worth tonight.

Well, at least I'm quite happy it went 3 - 0 then. Would've been a shitstorm if it was 3 - 2 with this issue. (Though it doesn't say it would've ended the same way it did).

i thought Naniwa played better, but DRG was more consistent. tbh, without that one move-command mistake, i don't think DRG would have been able to beat him. still, they are both beastly.

yep.. thats a pretty big oversight.. im sure byun did that double bunker on the fly seeing that there was no supply depot. Not taking away from byun but GSL should have restarted with the right map the second they realized it was the wrong map.

DRG is stronger overall player, but the class S micro from Nani always shows off interesting games.


compare that serie to Seed vs Symbol. Look at the builds/decision making from Seed. Watch Nani's game plan.


Frankly, if DRG keeps playing like he did in this series, both MC and Seed should be able to stomp him easily. Symbol played way better yesterday than DRG did today, and still lost.
