You get all your shit in front and your Colossus in back, you don't forget range and if you have better ups and/or more Colossus you win. Simple. Microing only means your Colossus spend less time attacking, unless you Colossus are unprotected it's almost always counter productive to micro them, such is the quality of the unit design. | ||

Though from my perspective, Naniwa also had by far the better concave in this fight, so he would have taken a good fight there, regardless of range or no-range. That being said, the Colossus absolutely ruins PvP lategame in every way. | ||

While the lack of thermal lance probably decided that game, you have a point with the archons, they absorb a TON of colossus fire, combine that with extra immortals and a few shots of naniwa's colossi on genius' and I think that fight could still have been won by Naniwa even if Genius had range | ||
