Why waste your time talking to 13 year olds who can barely speak the language of the forum and completely lack the cognitive functions to have any kind of debate?

Im trying to say, it is a HUGE mistake therefore it kinda makes sense, that he lost? We're not saying it isn't Genius's fault, in fact, he deserved to lose a game like that for making that mistake; but it wasn't anything that Naniwa had control over, Naniwa didn't initiate any godly strategy or anything to make Genius not upgrade Thermal lance. So some of us are just telling the people going "omgz!! Naniwa godly micro!! so good!!" to chill out, he was literally behind the whole game, and won because of Genius's rookie mistake.

I doubt he cares about that, he'll know they are obviously closely matched and he only lost because of the second set because of the research fail. But I'm sure the fail itself will bug him as well as the way the groups panned out/.
Well, it should bug him.^^
It's not the first time he forgets to research thermal lance in a televised PvP game either, he did it against Seed in the deciding game last season as well.

Surely he had thermal lance though? Otherwise what was naniwa waiting for, he would have pushed the range advantage there and then instead of waiting for a lucky strike.

More like Naniwa got knocked out early and was sitting behind him watching all his PvP builds. Pretty grimy if you ask me, but that's just how Naniwa is. I am surprised he has so many fans but it makes sense because most people wouldn't be his fan if he wasn't winning.

Even if genius didn't forget his thermal lance, it's not certain that he will win for sure. Armor ups are important but not as significant as attack ups. Upgrading thermal lance means 1 less colo for him. Naniwa has archons support. One less colo + 2 armor ups down but having more archons, it could still go either way.
|
Where are people getting information about Genius not researching thermal lance? From the korean stream?
|
I don't get all the butt hurt people in here. If your opponent makes a mistake that loses him the match, then it is NOT luck. You simply played better, because you did not make a mistake...sheesh...He did not research Thermal Lance, how can you still expect Genius to win...Genius had multiple blunders, terrible positioning, and bad decision making in the fight...Sure he did some things well, but I don't care how good you macro, mistakes like that are going to get punished at this level, and Naniwa deserved the win.

Then you are ignorant, micro is everything in lategame PvP, it's all about the guy that can force the better engagement. I agree that it didn't matter when you don't have range, but you can easily win a fight in PvP even if you are behind on ups if you have good micro. Doing simple stuff like pulling an immortal foward change the entire fight. Two guys who definitely don't play Protoss at a decent level. You get all your shit in front and your Colossus in back, you don't forget range and if you have better ups and/or more Colossus you win. Simple. Microing only means your Colossus spend less time attacking, unless you Colossus are unprotected it's almost always counter productive to micro them, such is the quality of the unit design. I like how you were just complaining that someone needs to use proper grammar.

Not much point in praying for Nestea to win, all your prayers go straight to him anyways

Then NaNiwa must not know how to play at a decent level, either. If winning late-game PvP was that easy, then why didn't NaNiwa keep up constant Collosi production? For a guy who balances his gas-count to gain a slight advantage, why would he elect not to take the easiest route to victory?

I'm sooooo happy that Naniwa advanced to Ro8. It's also good to be able to laugh at all the haters :DDDD

Well, I wonder if Genious picks Naniwa again next season.
