Doesn't matter if people can see it, few people expected him to make it out of the group of death, which he plowed through. Just like last season, when few people believed that Mvp would take it. People too busy hyping new players. ![]()

You simply played better, because you did not make a mistake...sheesh...He did not research Thermal Lance, how can you still expect Genius to win...Genius had multiple blunders, terrible positioning, and bad decision making in the fight...Sure he did some things well, but I don't care how good you macro, mistakes like that are going to get punished at this level, and Naniwa deserved the win. It is luck. Sorry to say but certain things are luck based. Nobody studied genius to realize he never gets collosus range

I am surprised he has so many fans but it makes sense because most people wouldn't be his fan if he wasn't winning. What a load of rubbish, I'm not really a fan but there's nothing wrong with him watching genius' games.

He got ran over first few months but stuck it out anyway unlike many same reason I like HuK win or lose.

Like a 100 supply drop for Genius and like nothing for Naniwa, is what I thought I saw (I am sleep-deprived so not sure lol)

No it's not, it's pure luck. Absolutely 100% luck. There is definitely a large part of Sc2 and all sports where if you play really well it makes your opponent look really bad and you can force errors. For example in football if you're a team who presses the ball high up if forces the opposition defence into errors because they are rushed on the ball. This game was absolutely not one of those situations. This game was the equivalent of a defender it back to the goalkeepers who then trips on the grass and the ball rolls into the net. There is no skill in that, there is nothing you've done to cause it. Just like there was no skill on Naniwa's part to make Genius forget Thermal Lance. It was all on Genius. Naniwa lucked out completely in a game he otherwise looked likely to lose.

And in the end, the player who made less mistakes went through. Also nani's defense vs the speed-prism was stellar. Usually that thing does a whole lot of damage, but nani feinted it nicely.

Right before your code S match you go and sit directly behind the person you are facing and watch how he plays? Of course genius is going to be using the same builds as Code S because he is trying to qualify for OSL. It's disgusting.

You get all your shit in front and your Colossus in back, you don't forget range and if you have better ups and/or more Colossus you win. Simple. Microing only means your Colossus spend less time attacking, unless you Colossus are unprotected it's almost always counter productive to micro them, such is the quality of the unit design. This is not entirely true. There are situation where you have to micro your Colosses. If your colossus are in the back like you said you can easily kite them. (Watch HasuObs against Huk at NASL2 finals on Dual Sight for example. Hasu micros his colosses (and army) and defends huks push)

Korean pride and all. And I don't think it really affected the matches to be honest.
