stop being so butthurt, and maybe consider that mma got lucky in this one tournament rather than be unlucky in almost everything else he's played in lately. it's an online qualifier - what if i grabbed some other random online qualifer and called yonghwa #1 protoss bonjwa for winning HSC or sting the new terran hope for winning TSL KR qual 2? online qualifiers will be online qualifiers. i'm not going to deny your right to be a fan, but whenever someone criticizes mma you come running back with this one tournament he did well in lol.
either way, i don't think there is a way for hongun to beat mma, so not much to worry about here =]
lol said the butthurt mkp fan. random online qualifier? you know all the big korean names like MVP, nestea, and mkp have already competed in this tourney? it's not some "random online qualifier".
Actually despite your ignorance, Younghwa has always been a sick protoss ever since 2011 he just hasn't had a break-out performance in the GSL yet so yeah maybe he will be the new protoss bonjwa someday.
the funny thing is if mkp beat mma you wouldn't be calling it some "Random online qualifier" you'd probably be praising the amazing player pool that was in the bracket and mkp for getting through it. Plus, if you actually watched the games (which I doubt you did) you'd realize that both mma and mkp played their hearts out and mma barely came out on top.
And the reason why I bring this result up is because it happened all during MMA's "slump" where he's received most of his criticism. Why would I go to a result that was completely out of context.... exactly
since when have i been butthurt about mkp? i've been sad, but i doubt i've ever complained or quoted single tournaments as you had. the only times when i've been overfanboy is when i'm sparring with zerosc2... (but that's zerosc2 lol, i think most people are permitted to be annoyed at him).
also i don't see mvp or nestea there, although mkp is there obv. i have seen the games, thanks. i think my involvement with this community and how often i'm here shows that i do follow the scene.
regardless, maybe mma had a good day. lots of players are capable of having good days where they really get it, and maybe mma strung a few good games together. such is the nature of online qualifiers, and that's what i meant.
whenever mkp and mma have matched up, i hardly praise it such. for example, during ipl4, mkp's wins over mma were a bit meh, with mma's one factory being kinda pivotal. otherwise, please find a post that suggests that i do what you say i do; i am generally very respectful of players, unless i'm talking to zerosc2, or someone is saying ST > prime for justice (those are the only two instances there i get annoyed).
When MKP lost to Alicia after DT's, everyone was complaining that he got "lucky" with "build order wins". It was a load of BS and just a bunch of fanboys not giving Alicia the credit he deserved for coming out on top in an unfavored matchup. YOU supported those fanboys when I criticized their refusal to give credit where credit was due simply b/c it was mkp who lost.
MVP and Nestea didn't participate in this one but in the previous ones and LOST. That was an enormous part of the hype the tourney used to publicize itself. Clearly, your knowledge of the scene isn't as expansive as you claim.
You constantly talk about "respecting the right to be a fan" and your "General respect of players" and yet when I try to publicize MMA's win against MKP in a ridiculously stacked tournament that got nowhere near the amount of attention it should have, you try discouraging me from doing so. Why would someone who's so respectful of other players go out of his way to prevent me from displaying an amazing achievement that nobody seems to know about? Exactly. They wouldn't.

Hey you know what? It's an online qualifier, that's why it didn't get the amount of attention you think it should have. What about, say, TSL qualifier #2, where MMA got unceremoniously taken out by Lure?
You obviously lack the respect if you post things like
stop crying, he lost so deal with it
What would you react if someone said that about MMA?
obviously you're a slayers fanboy and would support alicia and want to believe it was his skill that took out mkp and not build order wins (fair enough) but no reason to go and post "stop crying, he lost so deal with it" in MKP's fanclub. not often that i or any prime fan posts something like that in MMA's fanclub is it?

Huh, there is always discussion about how there are so many talented players in code B who just get unlucky, or how the GSL is so tumultuous. Perhaps that is beginning to not be the case anymore. If these games were any indication, the fields may have finally solidified in the GSL. Every U&D or code S player advanced over every code B or returning code A player. It's just interesting to observe. If the trend continues through all of the code A matches, we may finally have a fairly accurate representation of the "top players in korea"
I swear my mouth was hanging open most of that Bomber v Freaky game. Freaky is just so aptly self-named X_X. What he does with infestors is just ... well, it's getting into pretty freaky territory. I hope we see much more of this kid in GSL/GSTL!
