Like a tanky top, jungler, ranged dps, mage dps and support. Or is it more freely and the picks are more strategic? No such thing as meta tbh. Unlike LoL, every hero is totally viable on a competitive scene
Great, I think this makes lol a bit boring to watch.

They're hard to understand unless you play them yourself. They're fun games for sure but unless you play it very spectator unfriendly despite Dota2's amazing spectator interface. This isn't the biggest problem now because Dota/loL has such a large playerbase though.

Still good that they contribute to esport's growth exactly the opposite for me i don't think they're fun to play at all, but watching dota2 is ok, once you understand a little bit.

If this is true then I'm immediately switching to dota 2 when it comes out, I hate how in LoL picking the right heroes is half the game decided. It's such bullshit.

Would love to see XP per minute and gold per minute and stuff. Its still in beta though right? Maybe they will improve it Funny how most dota fans would say the HoN UI is much worse Really? The UI is the best thing about HoN, DotA2 observer UI is atrocious, certainly the worst out of the three You're right, blocking half of the screen with useless crap is AWESOME. They bring up the Gold/EXP graphs when they're relevant, and bring up the scoreboard to see items when they need to. There's no reason to block the screen with it for most of the game. DotA2 UI blocks the same amount of screen and I for one want to always have a view of things like: All heroes' items All heroes' gold, gpm, exp/m, level, skillbuild Without having to click anything But maybe you prefer clicking 20 different hotkeys and selecting each hero seperately to get that information that you'd otherwise have permanently. Also you can deactivate the UI with a single key. That being said, grats MTW, really happy for you Can you really look at all that stuff simultaneously though? Isn't it better to parse through information, and only see exactly what you're looking for? It's like if in sc2 every tab was open at once. production, workers lost, income, units tab, apm, etc etc. The information is there, and its easy to find, but there's no reason why it should clutter up the screen except for when youre looking at it. In LoL at least the ability to see the items everyone has is amazing. Seeing hero levels at all times is very useful as well. I don't understand when you wouldn't want to know these things? I check them like every 30 seconds, just like with creeps.
I don't think you should need 400 APM to observe
