I think it might be the stream, Dota 2 actually looks really slick when you play it. I really like the artstyle.

Hahaha I hope you don't actually believe this community is mature or a model of how other communities should act.

you really have to play it to understand where's the tension. You'd be talking the same way if you weren't playing SC2 so really people bashing other games use your brain and don't be so ignorant.

Dota 2 is great Esports if you understand the game. Sure it's hard to understand if you've never played but so is SC2.

Like a tanky top, jungler, ranged dps, mage dps and support. Or is it more freely and the picks are more strategic? No such thing as meta tbh. Unlike LoL, every hero is totally viable on a competitive scene If this is true then I'm immediately switching to dota 2 when it comes out, I hate how in LoL picking the right heroes is half the game decided. It's such bullshit.
If you're good enough, you can make any hero look overpowered tbh. There are heroes that are more powerful than others, and are picked more, but it totally depends on style

mTw won't get another title tonight! Go MaNa!!!

Bristleback and Alchemist are the backbone of any competitive line-up, and you know that. They're part of that power trio that also includes Bloodseeker.
Don't listen to Drazerk, guys.
