Based on an infinite number of things. And that wasn't a "4 gate pvp", that was a 4 gate getting destroyed by a 2 gate.

Uh ok, what things? Clearly not results. It was one PvP in a series that holds zero significance for either player.

Yeah because Naniwa's RO8 Code S is clearly better than Hero's RO4. Oh and winning a Dreamhack? Naw just child's play man, you're right.

Ro16 is also better than Code A.

naniwa never survived in code a so what a pointless comparison

Hero forces the cancel on Naniwa's Nexus while Hero got up his own.

Yeah do you think that's a convincing argument for hero being "on a completely different level than Naniwa". Gj not even mentioning naniwa's results, or the fact that nani fell out of GSL vs MVP who went on to win the tournament.

And hero beat mvp in ro16

Damn, I thought Hero vs Naniwa was going to be much more close, but Hero is just outplaying Nani so bad that it hurts, I can't believe my eyes!

How come every player just has to be "So much better" than another player, seriously I can't recall the last time the SC2 community looked at 2 players and said "Yeah they're as good as each other" it has to always be one is so much better than the other.

That build was so strong by hero, anyone knows how soon dreamhack releases their replays after the event?

It's a standard 3 Stalker opening into two more Stalkers and then a followup depending on what you see. It's basically invulnerable to 4gate, only reason Naniwa had a chance was that Hero didn't scout that lowground pylon. Some versions make Sentries after the first three Stalkers, the 5 Stalker version is more aggressive, and often does quite a bit of damage against greedy tech builds.

People open the 5 stalker way instead of the 3 stalker into sentry way because the 5 stalker opening allows for a 'counter 4 gate' I find. 4 gate fails the only option is a followup allin, or expand and prey. The 5 stalker open kinda pre-prevents the expand option I find. You will defend 4 gate and pressure enough that he can't come back.

3 stalkers into 2 sentries is more a lategame/expo build. Generally after the 2 sentries they can rush colo. Works well on like antiga, esp with 1 canon near your nat. Again though, vulnerable to the 1 base blink plays. see guys, pvp is so fun!

Yeah, 3 stalkers, stalker/sentry, Nexus, Robo, two more Sentries and a 3rd Gate is my standard PvP build currently, and the only thing that I can't hold is a 1 Gate Twilight Blink rush. Thankfully you don't see that stuff too much in EU Masters with the prevalence of those 4 gate DT into chargelot archon shenanigans.

It's because some people think the result of 1 game equals how players do in every other game against anyone.
